The way light plays off the gilding leaf looks stunning in the flesh.

20 feet tall eh? That's amazing! Really helpful too - you could hit up the gable end of a building without needing ladders or a scissor lift.

Saw the original at the Babylon Academy and it was pretty striking. The surface was really interesting. Visually interesting process that RYCA will hopefully push further.

I'm not knocking anyone, but I think a print like this should be seen as a bit of fun... and probably priced accordingly.
£75, and justifying it with descriptions of paper type, hand rolled gold, etc seems a bit silly.

what can i say , this is truly a joke ! i went on a one day learn to screenprint course and my results were better than this crap , and i only did 3 prints ........but i would be too shy to show such rubbish . sorry the paper is the only thing nice about it . dot is too small , and the colours are all wrong , it just adds up to a disaster .

yes indeed but he was the first of many to use marilyn . not seen too many using dot cotton , which does look too small and the wrong colours ....maybe you should do a varied edition over the years until it becomes iconic ! dot and chairman mao would be nice
