Well Wiz, I expected better from you. Never mind.
Surely I am not the only person who would like to see a bit more imagination in the art posted on here. It really isn't enough to do a blatent copy of a more famous piece or just put a different head on the body of another artists work.
Where is the humour, or anything that would make this more interesting. And RYCA, It is a Warhol piece not a piece by Elvis.

(lowest form of wit-couldn't resist)
aj2010, are you a star wars fan? (the joke is subject replacement) han shot first? also a play on the name, Han solo, han double...
It took a bit of imagination to come up with it, this image of Harrision ford does not exist, it was constructed and time spent getting the right detressed.
I'm not claiming originality, my on going theme of movie-art mash-ups is what i like (luckily-some others seem to like them too).also Gavin Turk has done a self portrait in this style, again for me i'd rather stare at this gun slinger than Turk or Elvis. got a few more movie-art prints i'm working on also....
you see i was one of those guys who used to queue for Jeremy Bulloch autographs, just the same way people queue for prints/releases i guess?

This is a photo of me in the workshop, my preference is wear old clothes that are usually soiled, an elasticated loose fitting trouser is far more comfortable than chinos and loafers when you do the work I do. It's the age old debate of pants over boxers? Matter of choice? I have friends who never wear trainers, I'm the kind of guy who bought my first suit six months ago aged 28. "I like me" John candy, planes trains and automobiles.

I am not a Star Wars fan, so maybe it loses something in translation for me. Gavin turk is a chancer and a very lucky boy to have the reputation as an artist that he has, imho. I think I had Turk in mind when I first commented, so in some way it influenced my comments. But hey, it's just one persons opinion.
I do like 'movie mash-ups' when done well, and with humour, so I am not dismissing the whole thing.
Personally I do prefer Elvis, but that's just me.
