Is Banksy street art (and others) an advert for Sothebys contemporary art auctions?
I thought this was a petition to get RYCA to stop painting. I was ready to sign that. I'm not a huge fan of RYCA either but I think this sets a dangerous precedence for street art in general. Couldn't you, in theory, say all street art is advertising if that artist's work is being sold in an art gallery? Is Banksy street art (and others) an advert for Sothebys contemporary art auctions? |
