One of the interesting points (for me) made in that old Banksy interview someone posted on here last week was his reaction to the question of collaborating with other artists. He stated quite strongly that it hadn't worked out well for him in the past and preferred not to do that. Assuming the long held view that it's a collective then something must have changed his position. Personally I don't care who it is but suspect his full story would be a fascinating one, if he ever chooses to share it.

Robert Del Naja?, by Unica on Nov 6, 2017 8:15:24 GMT 1, 3d prices won't go to banksy prices..... they'll go up a bit, and I expect once revealed the banksy prices will fall. If Banksy ever came out as anyone it would legitimize him to museums (see the movie Saving Banksy, where they can't give one away). Any type of reveal would skyrocket Banksy print prices and of course anyone who was Banksy.
3d prices won't go to banksy prices..... they'll go up a bit, and I expect once revealed the banksy prices will fall. If Banksy ever came out as anyone it would legitimize him to museums (see the movie Saving Banksy, where they can't give one away). Any type of reveal would skyrocket Banksy print prices and of course anyone who was Banksy. Not sure why he would bother, he would just open himself up to lawsuits from chancers after a quick payday. |

The Holts ones weren't much better... except for the white primer... ahh - the olden days... when wheatpaste sounded like some strange exotic breakfast... like Ski yoghurt. |
