Love Kofie's work, had the pleasure to see a few pieces at galleries in London, and a friend's got a great one too. Would love to have one on my wall some day... colour, composition, texture, depth and detail all rolled into an aesthetic tour-de-force imo.

I appreciate any artist that does this, it's such a great idea and makes sense for them as well as those who cannot afford the larger pieces having over spent on other work(me!).  Better than silk screen (which is what I normally have to purchase these days with the rise of original prices from most artists. These ones were a great deal but the others added later were slightly more cost wise but had that edge I think.

Well I get your sarcasm, forgive me I could not tell if it was an image or what. That said wonderful show and yes I did end up getting "just a clipboard"

Here are some pics of the Vintage File pieces framed, clipboards as well as small wood boxes that are framed with his signature ruler border. These pieces might be cheaper but they are actually more inline with Kofie as an artist as they have actual ephemera qualities in that he found these pieces himself through numerous estate sales he frequents. He is a collector and the vintage file pieces as well as old clipboards are all part of the vintage futurism aesthetic he has established. These pieces are also all hand painted and not collage which also makes them unique. He would normally mix collage or transferred vintage elements. People like both but I think the fully hand painted pieces are more rare. This whole show was all painted pieces something different for the artist. I think there were 1 or 2 of these pieces left all around a great exhibition in every aspect for Kofie. 

I remember when I joined the forum someone posted their new Kofie canvas and I didn't understand why everyone thought it was so fantastic. Lucky for me my taste has developed a lot since then and this exhibition looks fantastic! Would love to have one of the big ones on my wall, but I think they are way to big for my wall. One more artist on my wishlist

I plan on going to the designercon in pasadena on saturday to pick one up, i think the price is fantastic.  Designercon is not free, $5 advance tickets and $7 at the door.

Print looks dope, and yes it loos like a steal at 75 bucks.. Anyone going that wants free entrance and some beer money to pick one up for me?

You are probably correct I think in his older style he might have done some 2-3 colors. With his newer more evolved style after 2010 I think his work especially his linework as matured alot and this will be his first print from that era I believe.

The original piece this print was based off will be exhibited in Dec in our Group show, possibly some special hand embellished Ap's too well see. Regardless anyone wanting an affordable print this is it.

Hmmm... to eat nxt month or to buy this, damn that's toughy!!!! At least it's a damn bargain, cud maybe go all out and combine it with the largest box of Shreddies I can find.

Ketchup packages for a couple weeks could tide you over. I would take the print haha.
