Stik for sale, by Viking Surfer on Oct 22, 2016 17:31:26 GMT 1, never see a COA from a stik canvas. maybe from a gallery issued...but not from stik himself...! Never say never as they say. He most certainly does do COA's for his pieces. It all depends if it was sold through a gallery or not.
I have an awesome work he did on foam board back in 2011. I sent it to him and asked him if he could provide a COA.
He said that "he cannot authenticate doodles or 'study works' as there are hundreds and are not part of his documented gallery collection. All he can do is say that based on the medium / subject it is likely something he did at that time".

Stik for sale, by Viking Surfer on Oct 22, 2016 17:38:43 GMT 1, This was the work if anyone cares:
Not in the best knick, but I think that adds to it
Signed / sprayed on the verso.
Now the difference between this and Zippys is that his canvas is a well documented image / medium from that time.
So there should be no worries / concerns as to whether it has a COA or not. Most of his canvas works weren't / aren't issued with one.

I have 3 pieces from King of paint show with coa's from both the gallery and Stik.
You should stick a pic up though. Edit : you did. Nice little piece.

I remember watching this for while....to be honest, I was concerned about authenticity. Hope it's a legit one Viking!

Stik for sale, by Viking Surfer on Oct 22, 2016 19:10:30 GMT 1, This the one that was on ebay? I remember watching this for while....to be honest, I was concerned about authenticity. Hope it's a legit one Viking! Yup it was the one from the bay. I emailed Stik about it and posted his response above.
Seller also promised a 100% refund if the item was ever found to other than genuine or if Stik turned around and said it wasn't. I emailed Stik again and mentioned the refund regarding authenticity and he repeated the above regarding the COA.
When I pressed him again about a clear cut answer he said to 'enjoy it for what it is'.
He could have turned around and said no it wasn't authentic, which I almost wanted him to do (and I pushed very hard for him to do so), but he wouldn't. Just said he can't issue a COA for doodles or 'study works' and 'to enjoy it for what it is'.
meh, so there you go.

Stik for sale, by tartarus on Oct 23, 2016 12:25:16 GMT 1, The Stik mini liberty canvas just sold at the juliens auction for just over $10k US. Zippy's mini canvas is a deal! was that including the buyers fees? I gave up and went to bed before it finished this morning. it was showing a bid of 8k at the time. But they have a 25% buyers premium.
Also it said live bidding begins above the timer. Rather than bidding ends, made me think it was going into a real auction after the time ran out. very confused!

You are correct it did indeed go in to a traditional auction but one could continue to bid online and the hammer sounded at $8500 plus 25% fee to the house. So indeed over $10k for the little guy.

Stik for sale, by leximarmite on Jun 30, 2017 0:35:58 GMT 1, So offers above ยฃ900 in 2014 would be how much two years later? Well, the golden rule in art is to add 10% per year, multiply it with the IQ of the seller, divide it by 3x the shoe size of the buyer, add a $100 for every year towards the next total solar eclipse. Plus Paypal fee, off course. Kinda surprised you weren't aware of that......
๐๐๐๐๐ love it !!
