KAWS wouldn't put the words Open Edition on the packaging if it wasn't truly an open edition. That doesn't mean they'll be around forever, but why stop the cash cow when the demand is high? Makes zero sense to say open edition and only make a few thousand of each figure. This is all just people freaking out for nothing IMO. |

If I was speculating I would say that these will be drip fed in numbers of 250-500 to certain exclusive galleries / stores associated with KAWS and his exhibitions and past retail presence. I say a global run of 2000-3000 units of each. Again I could be WAY off the mark.
