Kaws @ the Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth, by Con Art Studio on Oct 21, 2016 21:38:34 GMT 1, the black BFF plushes may be restocked from the remaining stock they have but they will definitely not be produced again. all the BFF plushes, both the black and the blue version are limited edition and are each individually numbered. yeah, but didn't they only release like 500 of 3k yesterday. ย wasn't saying at all that i thought they would produce more, just that they might restock from the 2500 remaining.
i know the site that sold the blue will be selling the black soon as well. I'm sure a good amount went to them... but I agree, more will probably go on sale at the museum or on the museum's site.

The use of color, the canvas shapes, the statues in different materials. All amazing. I went with a friend of mine that used to graffiti with Kaws in the 90s on the east coast. We were both blown away to see the old school Kaws work on display as well. He went to the Kaws show at the Aldrich in 2010 and said it was amazing to see all of his work together in one space at this show.
Some of the work looks like it was designed for the space, it fits the architecture so perfectly. Really an impressive show! So much so I am going again tomorrow night with my girl for the museums members preview.
The gift shop had some books, shirts and bags for sale. The figures were sold out and the staff said they didn't know when they would have anymore. They said they weren't in control of it. All of the staff I spoke with said yesterday was crazy and overwhelming.
If you have a chance, come to Texas and check it out! I'll post pictures later.
