SEEN πΊπΈ Richard "Richie" Mirando β’ Godfather of Graffiti, by churchwood on May 31, 2017 9:46:22 GMT 1, Actually I don't know, it's my first unstreched canvas... I thought to stretch it on wood, but I'm happy to listen to any advice from more expert collectors!
My first choice was for canvas #68, those bright red and yellow seemed to me more SEEN, but it disappeared from my cart so I chose #70. The colours are more my colours and love the light blue and green together. Hope that this would be more acceptable by my wife... Get it stretched onto a basic wooden frame - that's how I had mine done and will be getting the next done too when it arrives - love to see a pic when its done too. cheers cw

This might be a dumb question, but when you stretch it does it get bigger or does it get stretched in a wood frame the same size as when it's unstretched?

As far as I understand, it remains the same size and so reduces its visible size. That's why I hope the canvas includes a white border (2 inches?) for stretching so that I would not lose any painted part.

You will lose a few inches on each side because the canvas needs to fold around the frame

I think most of the ones I have seen have the border to allows stretching and fixing without any loss in size of the main image.
I have a long tags one on its way - I may get it overstretched so that the image also flows over sides and top and bottom of the frame - not sure yet -

SEEN πΊπΈ Richard "Richie" Mirando β’ Godfather of Graffiti, by Graffiti Loser on May 31, 2017 19:03:21 GMT 1, HI EVERYONE, I see most of you on here lately are trying to figure out how to mount these canvases. Theres two ways to go about it. I been leaving a one inch white boarder on the small canvases so if you decide to stretch on a wood stretcher bar and since they are small the stretcher bars from an art store would be no more then an inch thick, so when you stretch the one inch white boarder will be stapled to the back and the art work will roll over to the sides giving it a finished look. OR,, since they are small you can put them in a frame, Do not go to a frame store they will charge you more to frame it then the actual cost of the painting, Go to Ikea they have decent frames for cheap, or places like Micheals or hobby lobby you can catch good sales on there pre made frames. My opinion is on the small SEEN tag paintings,, they look best in a frame.

There were $150 and $200 canvases, as well as more expensive ones. $150 were mini canvases and $200 were slightly less mini I suppose. Both were charged at $51 shipping. Just saying too.
On the plus side they were stated as $50 value so no duty or vat.
Very pleased with mine.
