There are also pliers you could get to help pull it taut. I got a SEEN canvas that is 40" x 84", so quite large. I watched 4 or 5 YouTube tutorials about how to stretch a canvas, start from the center, work your way to the corners, leave about 6-8" at the corner unstapled so you can fold it more or less like the corners of a Christmas present and then staple it down.
Buy a man a fish vs teach a man to fish, amiright? And every time you see the piece it'll feel more personal and you'll look on with pride. You got this.
