Probably because they don't want to print the whole run and sit on them for a year.. guess there was a sudden rush to buy this after a really slow start and they had to print the second batch now to fullfill all the orders.

Yeah, was feeling the same but had good contact with Steph and assured all is now sorted after the nightmare with their tech suppliers..one thing, what is it actually called ? I thought the stencil was 'Toxic Mary', but even POW are calling it 'Virgin Mary'.. even saw a 'Mother Mary' on ebay today ;-), a bit of a rash sale maybe, considering halfof em have still to be delivered.

well pleased with this print, dunno if it's because it's new but it's my favourite at the mo.

I'm definatly gonna keep it now though.
ยฃ300 does make me laugh - its been ยฃ75 for at least 2 years!

having said that, my grin reaper is now suddenly desirable ;D
weird. the few that were sold up to this crazy increase didn't sell for much at all.
I also turned down the chance to buy an extra one from POW coz I felt it was better for people who had missed out, to then get one. Hope they did go to good homes  (and don't appear on ebay)

The print arrived a couple of days ago and is embossed with a stamp reading "P.O.W. PRINTMAKING", along with the number in pencil in the bottom left of the print. Are most VMs really not stamped?

Obviously during the time they were on sale they started using the stamp. So later ones will have the stamp, earlier ones won't.
At a complete guess i'd say half would be stamped & half wouldn't. But I can't back that up with any facts!

This will allow everyone on the board to have a look at what other people have done with each print to see how different mats, frames, and mountings look for each individual print. This should be a good way to save time from searching all over, plus it will give you some nice ideas for your Banksy!
