This is not mine--but was interested in getting a take on the value of something like this:

Basically 500-600 GBP. No COA and has blue tack damage on the front.

Is this a steal? fair market? If this was restored, and the COA was secured---could this fetch the same amount, or close to a mint version of this? Is selling a restored Banksy a MUCH harder sell?

Pretty interesting to me--was wondering if I could get some good insights

I would not waste time on this print

The print looks real to me. I'd imagine when these were originally released, a lot of the sales were to people who didn't take care of it, and treated it as a poster. So I would imagine that crowd wouldn't be too keen on  taking the initiative or shelling out 50 GBP for the COA.

I'm not too familiar with fakes---are they THAT common? Also--what's it like applying for Pest? Do they certify damaged prints?

I've had a look at it.

the seller is obviously keen to sell the work - shouldn't mean they cut all corners to do so.
If it's legit - they'd have done their homework and resolved COA / receipt etc.
By choosing not to do so - puts the buyer on the spot.

In this case i'd reckon it'll sell for not much but the onus will fall on the buyer to resolve any and all issues.
..which might amount of a fake damaged worthless work..

imo - it's a sharp sale - don't bother.

I live in the US--so bringing in the print will not be an option (or it would be a very cool yet expensive option, haha).

With that being said---should I completely steer away from prints w/o COAs, or can you get them relatively easy w/o having to visit the Pest Control offices in person? For example, say a relatively mint print.
