This guy's Banksy Collection, by lucky7 on Nov 26, 2016 6:25:30 GMT 1, What we talking here ? Can someone give me some ideas I'm very intrigued As Lee has made the IG account private, it would be inappropriate for members to say what the pieces were. You could message Lee and ask. It's up to him whether the info is shared. [
That's just an opinion. It's not inapropiate. Pictures posted on the internet. I remember them, it's my memory I didn't do anything wrong, hack or lie to see them. If you post something publicly, you now it might be shared, I think the man himself would agree as he seems very level headed and fair. It's my fprerogative wether I want to tell anybody what I saw.

I remember back in the wallkandy days we'd see glimpses of lee's collection, impressive.. i'm under larthree at instagram and happy to add you there. i'm not the most active contributor and looking forward soon to adding A LOT more underwater photos (it's going to be turtle overload i'm afraid with hopefully the occasional whale, fingers crossed) on there and flickr but happy to add you there. I just don't want it all public at this site which I hope you can appreciate.
lee3 what part of Hawaii? I moved down there just for 3 months last winter to help my buddy open his restaurant, Maui specifically.

I wonder if Lucky's perspective is a Millennial pov, one of entitlement and lack of concern for others.
I once saw my friend who works for a dog shelter throw a dart at a cat whilst at at a parking lot. If you do that at a public arena, you know it might be seen so I have every right to share it. By the way his name is Tim Robbins and he lives at 3632 2nd St, Torrance, CA. It's in the white pages so thats public domain. I'm justified...

Paradoxically, concern for others is precisely why I intervened.
Coach talked of community and respecting the wishes of it's members. I 100% agree with you guys here. But we don't know what the affected party's wishes are. Did he explicitly (or even implicitly?) say he wanted all discussion to end?
It's a sophism. Entitlement has become a misused hip word. Yes, exactly, thats my point: Everyone is entitled (no negative conotation) to answer the original question. I don't see anything wrong with answering it. I DO see a problem with a third party saying I can't.
A guy asked a question. The nice thing is to answer or at least let it pass. There's a million reasons why somebody might make a profile private. I don't see why one can't say "oh, it was a picture of this and that print". Saying it's inappropriate to answer seems to me curtails all of our ability as a public forum to express our thoughts and have a discussion (respectful and minding other member's reasonable wishes), and by transitivity might imply the question of "hey what are you guys talking about?" is also inappropriate. The poster is curious, nothing wrong with that, and I'd like to be able to tell him, thus inviting him instead of excluding him.
It's not a matter of doxing, gossiping, abuse, harassment, frivolity, or "entitlement".

Agreed don't put them online if you don't want people to see them. Lee does seem a very good guy so I'm sure he won't care about people talking. Anyway agree this might as well be closed now.

This guy's Banksy Collection, by Coach on Nov 26, 2016 21:15:16 GMT 1, lucky7, I am not trying to curtail discussion. I think my post history will show that that is not the sort of thing I do. I know Lee reasonably well, and as you say he is a reasonable chap. In fact he's one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people I've ever met on here. My concern was simply that he had chosen to make his IG account private. That suggests to me that he doesn't want the pieces shared further, and I simply thought that should be respected. Do as you please.
