Banksy I Fought The Law Print, by Mrs Mouse on Jan 23, 2018 11:31:22 GMT 1, irl1 can you let me know why I would get more bids if it wasn't a private auction? I thought people didn't like others knowing what they're bidding on. Why does it make a difference? I'm genuinely interested as I'm gutted if I've messed up!
For the other posters: I don't have pest control as I explained in the listing. I have applied for it but I didn't realise how long it would take. Last time I got a COA it was from POW and it took around 2 weeks. As I mentioned, I have a large expense to pay for so can't hang around waiting for a COA.
Lunchspecial I'm not sure what "Definitely an alias pseudonym back up account whatever" means? Are you trying to say I'm being dishonest somehow? As you correctly say, I've been a member since 2006. I was buying prints between 2005 and 2008 for my personal collection. I thought it would reassure buyers knowing I'm a long-standing member and that's why I put up the post. When I joined this board it was a friendly and helpful place but the more the value of Banksy works increased, the more aggressive some board members became. That's why I stopped coming here. Looks like it hasn't changed much! What a shame.

Banksy I Fought The Law Print, by irl1 on Jan 23, 2018 13:55:00 GMT 1, Hi i'm new here, but have read many posts for years, just posting was not for me. I collect myself and like a lot of people find art is getting out of reach price wise. The reason people don't like bidding on a private auction is that the seller can bump the price up on another account. I was only trying to advise you that you will get more bids if people can see who's bidding. You done a super job on the ad (the details e.t.c) and are very honest with its condition, fair play to you as ebay can be a nightmare when it comes to condition. Anyway if you take the private auction off and let people see who's bidding, you will surely get more bids. If you don't use ebay very often be extra careful who you sell to. Paypal have a stupid rule about returns. If a buyer claims they were sold a fake they can get a full refund. The buyer does NOT have to prove its fake, just by saying its fake they can get their money back. (this is a new policy with paypal, and its out of ebays hands) I can see your item is fine, but the scammers buy then claim its fake and send you back rubbish. They then have their money back and your item. I learned this the hard way. If i was you i would sell it here, or at a good auction. May i wish you all the best and hope you get a good price

He is selling a print on an auction site. It makes a difference. Also there's no COA so who in their right mind would buy that I'm not sure of. You are essentially gambling with a high risk of getting fucked.

Banksy I Fought The Law Print, by image on Nov 11, 2019 23:49:19 GMT 1, Thanks for all the PM's. just an update. This was framed only 2 or 3 years ago for a banksy exibition in croydon. The galley owner got it framed with another couple i had. Im happy for collection and sadly i dont want to post abroad because of all the hassle. It cost me money and hassle to send to pest control to get the COA.
