The market is currently going through a much needed correction, ....so would actually be a great time to sell an item for Bitcoin as you'd receive more of it than you would have a month ago. It would also be a good time to offload bitcoin if you are currently in profit on it and think it will drop more.
It's potentially win win.
I am trying to accumulate as much crypto as I can as I believe in it as an investment and as the future of finance/technology.

Just to put things into perspective, I just agreed to sell a signed print for something around 15% below last hammer. I do believe one has to be realistic if you really want to sell something, otherwise just wait for the rebound.
You might be lucky. Last time I sold a Banksy print (10 year ago), I got it wrong and the market shot up 3 times within 3 months hehehehehehe all you need is Banksy to come out with another show like he did back then (Better out than in).

If the price is too high there wont be any takers and a good heads up (preferably by PM) to the seller is a good thing. The problem is when people start talking silly numbers (eg. 25K for a signed print).

Sorry, I didn't see this, Japan's auctions still seem to be producing strong results. The last 3 in the UK all hammered around ยฃ20k so SBI is the outlier. I hope you sell it for a good price, but don't see the point of wasting time with an unrealistic ask, that's why you aren't getting enquiries. |

I think there is a difference between knocking someone's price in a cunty way or pointing out the price is off with evidence in a way that will help stimulate a sale. Alot of buyers will not offer if the ask is too high so if sellers want to make a sale on here asking the right price is important. I have no interest in buying this print and still own a few Banksy prints so have no interest in the market tanking. |
