New Faile print release December 1st, by wisky on Dec 2, 2016 11:48:37 GMT 1, Your right and that says alot....... I am going to try to cancel my order for the portfolio!!! I'll let yous know how it goes. I find it difficult to tell when people are joking sometimes, but if you are actually being serious, and please forgive me for asking, but what reason are you going to give for wanting to cancel? Good morning,
I am deadly serious, I have sent them a polite Email asking them to cancel my order, I also gave them a genuine and honest reason as to why I'd like to cancel, legally I don't actually have to have a reason because of the 30 day cooling off period for distance purchases, beside the fact that it has'nt been sent yet! But I have apologised for any inconvieniance that I may have caused and been honest with my reasons. I can hear an animosity in your tone, why do you feel that you have the right to question whether I'd like to return an item or not?

Animositous? Moi? Far, far from it.
I initially believed you were being sarcastic with your post about wanting to cancel, because you had previously been praising the work and seemed quite excited by it. So I thought your post about cancelling your order might have been just a facetious comment in response to it not having sold out in a squillionth of a second.
Then I thought, gosh, if you are really cancelling, I wonder what reason you'll give.
And I certainly wasn't questioning whether you'd like to return an item or not. Just whether you genuinely intended to.
That's it. No animosotisity. Not in my post.
Best of luck with your refund and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

New Faile print release December 1st, by Dr Plip on Dec 2, 2016 12:39:17 GMT 1, *LIFE HACK*
If anyone ever wants to cancel their art purchase, simply tell the seller that your child got hold of your iPhone and placed orders for things without your knowledge or authorisation.
Works a treat on eBay I'm told.
And if you paid in cash and in person, simply claim that your identity was stolen.
Could work?

First time I've ever seen Plip accused of trolling. That's simply not in his nature. I thought he had made it clear that there was no animosity in his question.

New Faile print release December 1st, by .dappy on Dec 2, 2016 15:15:27 GMT 1, I'm feeling alot of negativity and I don't understand it! I really like the SSYM portfolio and have ordered a full set, I think the colours on this set are amazing and the images are striking. So many times have I took a dislike to something new, only to want it when it's out of reach..... Take a long second look! ... brilliant ... just brilliant ... 🏃🏃🏃 👊

New Faile print release December 1st, by randomname on Dec 2, 2016 16:45:45 GMT 1, I like Faile, but I wasn't a fan of this set. Out of curiosity, I've been keeping an eye on the inventory during their release. They've all followed a similar pattern.
I believe they went on sale at noon EST. If I'm not mistaken, 100 are tied up in box sets. So 200 were available for sale. The first I checked the inventory was at 1:30.
At 1:30 EST, they had 153 in stock.
At 3:30, they had 139 in stock.
At 5:30, they had 133 in stock.
And at midnight EST (the last I checked), they had 124 in stock.
When I checked this morning, they were "out of stock."
Personally, I'd guess the inventory was around 115 given the trickle of demand. So they probably sold 80-90 of the 300 on this release. And going off the inventory for the box set, another 60 there. So roughly 150 of the 300 were sold.
I get why they're doing it. If they have five or six prints for sale when they release a print, demand for their new prints will be less than stellar. I don't think they picked their best images this time around. And they missed their price point in my opinion. It feels like a $300 print to me with an edition of 300.

New Faile print release December 1st, by WOOF on Dec 2, 2016 17:50:47 GMT 1, I find it difficult to tell when people are joking sometimes, but if you are actually being serious, and please forgive me for asking, but what reason are you going to give for wanting to cancel? Good morning, I am deadly serious, I have sent them a polite Email asking them to cancel my order, I also gave them a genuine and honest reason as to why I'd like to cancel, legally I don't actually have to have a reason because of the 30 day cooling off period for distance purchases, beside the fact that it has'nt been sent yet! But I have apologised for any inconvieniance that I may have caused and been honest with my reasons. I can hear an animosity in your tone, why do you feel that you have the right to question whether I'd like to return an item or not? They might let you cancel. But they might also ban you from buying again. That's the trade off, I suppose.

New Faile print release December 1st, by The Origin on Dec 2, 2016 19:06:45 GMT 1, Wow this thread got very negative really fast! So much rubbish being written too...cancelling orderes because a print has not sold out fast enough?!
People are underestimating the size of these prints and the pricing is in line with previous releases. Slightly smaller size than the recent block prints and much smaller edition size too so the prints are priced accordingly.
I will be sure to post a framed picture of my print after Misterframeman had worked his magic on it and hopefully that will lighten the mood of the thread and cheer up some of the miserable gits who have been posting in the thread so far...!

New Faile print release December 1st, by Bazaaart on Dec 2, 2016 19:08:37 GMT 1, No us art enthusiasts setup a new secondary art marketplace for all pop, urban and contemporary art. This is for anyone if they want to resell or buy and its Free for sellers, only the standard paypal fee.
We wanted to make it more convenient for users to sell art rather than on Ebay and the forums. Also we want to try and filter out the flippers that dont appreciate the art and are out there only for the money. Thanks for asking!
