He doesn't seem to be breaking any new grounds and stuck in a rut these days.

Seller on ebay hiding his color to avoid getting caught lied about his color to someone who inquired.
He said he had mine instead of whatever color he got. Potential buyer reported to Eelus that my color was getting flipped and there I got refunded.

My only problem with this print is that I couldn't get one ๐
Ps- I think him refunding flippers and bring diligent that his art gets into the hands of collectors is pretty stand up. More artist should follow suit

Once someone has bought an item and recieved it, what they do with it after that is their business though.

Id agree and disagree in the same breath here, I think the main point is that Eelus has tried to take a different direction, the SF print release showed this and personally I didnt like it at all.
I think the problem is all Eelus fans know and like him best for his earlier style stuff, this by the way adorns 4 different rooms in the house. His direction now has gone on a tangent with Lenticulars, two colour simple screens and different styles (the SF release).
Although I wanted the 'blow up' now the dust settled it would probably of been one for a lesser wall in the house simple effective I suppose but it wont be a classic in years to come.
Whether the classics have already been and gone is another matter. Whatever the case he constantly sells out, I find it disappointing that flippers always get a lions share of new releases but its the same with any well know followed artist. I do think the inflated prices of the latest release wont last and they will be the same as BSMD, and plateau at around cost in the coming months.
Just my twopenneth for what its worth!
