Bearbrick Collectors, by Buff Monster Fan on Nov 20, 2018 16:38:38 GMT 1, I just got my first BearBricks last week - the Daft Punk Discovery set, 400% - from Bait. I can immediately see how these things could get very addictive, very fast
I had no issues with Bait and the price seemed pretty solid compared to other sources. Shipping was a bit slow (10 days) despite me being the US, but other than that, great experience and very happy.
Looking forward to more discussions on these!

Bearbrick Collectors, by CREAM on Nov 20, 2018 16:41:16 GMT 1, Does anyone know how or where to source the wood bearbricks? Only place I really see them is Ebay.
Also the new Keith haring from designercon is really cool thinking that might be my first bb purchase.

They have the new Keith Haring (the pink and purple ones) at Selfridges in London. Not sure if they're online, but saw them in there at the weekend. 100 and 400 set, and the 1000.

Bearbrick Collectors, by rogerwu99 on Nov 20, 2018 17:02:29 GMT 1, In the US there are a few places to get Bearbricks: Toy Tokyo, Kith, Mag Park, etc (Of course you are paying more because of customs + shipping)
Really the best place to get them is from the Medicom store in Tokyo (Skytree & Harajuku are the main ones) and then there are places like Mandarake for resold ones. (They are heavy but with the $ gaining in the yen, definitely worth it, if you go to Japan).
There are some fakes on eBay but after a while you can really tell, faces have fat bottom halves, holes on the feet ... the best ones to look at are the Chanels where the face just isn't right as well as the Kaws 2002 ... same thing, the face is a bit fat. Hope that helps

So is the geese in Canada. Shame Iโve let you in. Hopefully youโll be demoniated for your crimes. Would rather take a blade for time. No time like the present. Never even seen the print btw
