partly but the price went up around the time of the glastonbury pieces and also the signed prints started to get out of control a few months back and now most normal people can no longer afford a signed banksy print so they are buying unsigned instead.
in theory GR should be worth more as an unsigned print as there are only 350. i own a gansta rat and its definatly not worth that sort of money, i was fairly dissapointed when i got mine and i only paid £70.......offers over £1600 accepted

I also paid £70 back in 2005 but was less than impressed with it,so much so that after having it on my wall for a few years i decided to trade it with someone from this forum for a unsigned applause which i adore.
I know the applause it not worth as much but i get alot more satisfaction from looking at the big bad applause than i did from the gangstar rat.
I suppose it helps that i still have a placard rat & love rat.

I am new to this forum and was hoping some experienced people could advise me on something
I have a Banksy Gangsta Rat signed 21/350 from 2004.
The problem I have is that has got a few creases in it from when it was moved house bfore it was framed....they are not amazingly noticeable or big max 1inch, however they can be seen.
I just wondering how much this going to effect the price of the the print if I was to sell - which I might have to unfortunately, but if any here has a unsigned version I will buy that if I can still sell this one for a good price...
Any advice/information would be grateful received..

also theres alot of knowledgable people on here maybe they have an idea and maybe you can reduce the visibility of the creases by flattening- just an idea...gud luck dave

The cost of restoring it will be definately worth it when it comes to selling it.

A good restorer can make a world of a difference. Based on the value of that print I would say it is definitely worthwhile doing. It is refreshing to hear about people that bought stuff simply bc they liked it with no talk of investing, +1

I am still not sure this is the right time to sell but we ll see...
I read that other topic on here were that guy a gangsta rat and he got some creavses out but 1 of the creases is on a red part of print not sure if I am going to have much joy sorting that 1 but by the looks of the pictures the others should be sortable...
