I was being open about price in case anyone on UAA wanted it who was willing to pay market value not looking for a trade price to immediately sell it on for profit. The local collector has loads of them so is not sweating on winning it. I don't understand the condescending "be a nice chap" and "don't be greedy" comments but others seem to like it. |

In our world JVC ruled no one cared about colour, background or money (until the batteries ran out). We were a family united by a healthy desire to express individual creativity and a passion to draw, rhyme, dance and play tunes only to be quashed as antisocial behaviour. The worshipped music device at the time of the piece was the iPOD, socially acceptable yet paradoxically the most antisocial device known to man, it was unaffordable, uninspiring, elitist and its digital ilk sucked the life and bucks out of the music industry. I think it was intended to provoke comparison to ensure the humble yet almighty boombox depicted as iPOW was remembered as the real iconic KING of the beats-

I could always ask but can guess what the answer would be... and it would involve a shed load of silence -

Definitely and i-Tunes crossed the pond to the UK in 2004 - expensive i-pods @ $399 and cheap $0.99 music sucking the life out the music industry - artists were no longer permitted to sell albums only - you had to offer as singles too - ouch!!
