Purchased at POW (DORA IS AUTHENTICATING AS I WRITE THIS) as with many of you, I never imagined I would need to keep a slip of paper that came with two poster tubes in the mail, let alone from some artist nobody in the USA really cared much about!  boy was i wrong.

I have family in Brighton. I am willing to ship the prints to them if needed for a UK buyer to see and pay them etc. We can work something out where I will ship to them and you can meet them at their place of biz etc. Anything we can do to assure the buyer and seller it is all on the "up"

"I am trying to find out where I purchased the poster. The problem is I can't recall! Consider this. In 2002 Banksy (at least in the USA) was unheard of. I had one of his small books and emailed the contact asking if he sold prints? They said not now but maybe in the future. A year later they emailed me and said that I should paypal (somewhere?) either a dealer or someplace in the UK and they arrived in the post. I am going to dig back 6 years to find out. Back then there was NO certificates of authenticity I know that for sure. BUT if you do the research on these (circa 03) you will see it is 100% Genuine. BUT i promise I am going as far back into my emails etc to see if I can track down where. Also, since I bought them I must tell you that I havn't been "in the loop" on the fact Banksy was at all collectible etc. Until I heard Jolie and Pitt went and bought some items etc. So the progression of the new water marking etc is new to me though I have done enough research to realize that collectors etc recognize the older works are not stamped but have other hallmarks that make them genuine. "

but I can't really help you unless you tell me what doesn't add up. POW is doing a cert for me now, and they HAVE a record of my sale so what more can i do?
