Nice, I like the grey mount... definitely one of the nicer 'Flags' frame jobs I've seen.
(Silver frames are a definite fashion faux-par)

I think smashedhat's is one of the best looking Flag frame jobs - most people are just doing black mat with black frame.

Could you guys please take a quick look at my Flags and let me know what you think. Does it look grainy to you? Answers gratefully appreciated. Thanks

It is a 100 GBP print - it isn't going to be perfect - mine looks very similar - think that is how the artist intended it to be.

They all look grainy owing to the halftones used, personally I think it adds to the charm of the print.

And if you compare it to the original www.banksy.co.uk/indoors/car.html you'll see that most if not all the imperfections are part of the intended effect

I got a flags on ebay in December and it arrived with a small but noticeable crease in it. I would have returned it but I got a good deal with an Applause in the same auction.

I've flattened and framed it but I can still see the crease easily, plus the rippling really gets to me. I've considered getting it dry mounted as the print is already damaged and I've no intention of selling it anyway. Still not 100% sure I want to do it, especially as it is numbered on the reverse.

Thanks for those CBL. Interesting idea too. I'm going to go to the framers when I get back from hols and see what he thinks is the best way to mount it. Gonna store it flat for a couple of months first though I think then see..

Yeah, you're probably right. I can live with it as it is, I've just had to be careful where I hang it. At the moment it's in the corner of my room, so light from the window doesn't reflect on it from most angles I view it, but I'd prefer it in a more prominent place.

As mentioned in the get your Banksy's out thread, I'll probably reframe it in the not too distant future so I'll see if there are any other options then.

I'm selling my Flag print.

As can be seen from the photo's below, the print is NOT in mint condition.

The second picture highlights the flaws in the print. Pic 3 shows the two rolling marks (a couple of inches long each) with pic 5 showing where the print actually properly creased (a couple of mm long). These stand out when using the flash more than they do otherwise. There's a couple of small creases running along the top edge that would be hidden by a mount or frame. There is also a small area in the top right hand corner where the gloss black looks duller but it's barely noticable and couldn't be picked up on camera.

PM me with an offer if you're interested. May consider a good trade, but it'd have to be something super sweet as I could do with the money unfortunately.

A mint condition 'Flags' went for £510 two days ago on 'the Bay' and the last one went for £565.
I love this print, Banksy's best for me. Just need to get myself one of these beuties. Dont think i'v seen a signed Flags being sold.
Did it come with a signed edition?
