If that was framed up - I think I could walk past it everyday & enjoy it, without looking at the dings - it is such a strong image. If it wasn't for the edition size this print would certainly fetch a lot more than some of the Banksy prints such as WSM TM MQ etc.
I wonder where the prices will be in 18 months, I remember not that long ago B&W trolleys was under ยฃ2k !

Hey y'all. Had not checked in in the discussion for a day or so. I wondered why i was getting so many pm's.
I can honestly say the damage is fairly minor and behind glass even less so.

Hi everyone,
It has come to that time to try and raise some funds again.
I'm therefore putting up my last Banksy print, Silver Flags.
I bought this print from a forum member a few years ago. References etc can be provided.
Here's a bit more about the print:
-London face to face deals only. Sorry!
This is due to the delicate paper. I won't want to roll it or post it as there is a big chance it may pick up more damage
-It is currently framed. It can be unframed but this will have to be done by a framer and ideally with you present. This is due to the delicate chromolux paper.
-The print is NOT mint!!! There are a few creases and marks on the print from when it was rolled.
I have taken the best pics I can but it is very difficult due to the paper.
-I haven't got a COA. The original owner didn't get one either. My thinking was that the print is so difficult to fake due to the chromolux it wouldn't be needed. I personally would only get a COA to prove its authenticity, so for the above reasons I didn't get one. I appreciate it's each to their own though.
I can provide the email paper trail from the sale to me.
-Price - ยฃ1500
I may be selling the Di-Faced tenners too if anyone is interested.
Also have a WCP Bomb Hugger to shift

Agreed. It took nearly 9 months but I got one for this piece without sending it it. I think due to its uniqueness with the paper and all, you should be fine with pictures and a paper trail to show provenance.

I just never thought I would need one. I totally understand some people like having the COA for peace of mind, but short of confirming its authenticity I never saw the need as I can do this with paper trail prov.
Getting a COA would have negated any concerns though.

Very sound advice. If this doesn't sell in a week or so then I will remove it for sale and get the COA sorted.

It could well be registered in my name with pest control, and if anyone wants it get in touch about any info I have you are more than welcome to, although it won't be instant. And by the sound of it any paperwork i had was passed on with the sale. I was contacted recently with another Banksy a forum member bought which was still in my name as the current owner hadn't transferred ownership.

My problem actually.
I bought mine framed around 7/8 years ago from the show at the library in highbury/islington,and due to the delicate paper I never been tempted to check the numbering since I know it s in the back and get a COA..

I've never heard of a flags getting repaired before. I think the paper that was used is too sensitive to get repaired. I've heard it likened to tin foil. Once a crease is made in foil it will be there for ever.
