Micallef releases Trump print to download, by Deleted on Feb 2, 2017 19:28:46 GMT 1, I think this bloke called Bacon may have influenced Micallef. And adam neate; and Ryan Hewett and; many many more artists, bacon was the f**kingmaster others aspire too. Love Bacon,
He influenced a lot of artists with his work. Plus he designed some very nice furniture in his early days.
Bacon was also inspired by some of Picasso's paintings.

Micallef releases Trump print to download, by bagpuss on Feb 2, 2017 20:25:14 GMT 1, This is not accurate information. Saudi Arabia has taken over 500k Syrian refugees and the UAE 250k. Lebanon as takin in 1.5m and Jordan 1.2m but these are not 'rich' Arab nations. The US has provided sanctuary for only 16k refuges and has now put a 'no entry' sign up on its boarders. I can't really comment as a UK citizen as we have only resettled around 6k. Pretty poor for two powerful and wealthy nations. www.dw.com/en/arab-monarchies-turn-down-syrian-refugees-over-security-threat/a-19002873Saudi is avery secretive kindom, alledgedly.
It is more down to the definition of the word refugee. None of the gulf states are members of the UN and treat people of traditional 'refugee' status differently. There are plenty of news articles about it, here's one m.huffpost.com/us/entry/8175924
As you say, Saudi, and other gulf states, are pretty secretive so it all comes down to who or what you wish to believe.

I was led to believe that there were many Syrians living in Saudi before the civil war and that they and refugees would never be granted citizenship. Just like the many migrant workers in Saudi.

Micallef releases Trump print to download, by nex on Feb 2, 2017 21:36:28 GMT 1, Australia have tried to make their populace believe refugees are actually illegal immigrants it's truly despicable. So when trump called the 1250 refugees they'd agreed to settle (from off shore detention centres of Australia) this, it underlined how fucking evil this approach has been.

I would imagine that there are refugees and also there are illegal immigrants trying to enter Australia.
Surely they have some sort of vetting system to deal with claims ?

Micallef releases Trump print to download, by Deleted on Feb 3, 2017 0:11:17 GMT 1, wrong.
I don't like people traffickers encouraging or forcing people to risk their lives in unsafe boats and unsafe life jackets.
there is a criminal network behind the migrant boats also in europe and they don't care how many drown.
wrong.

Micallef releases Trump print to download, by nex on Feb 3, 2017 0:26:50 GMT 1, and yet the stop the boats policy in Australia hasn't stopped refugees fleeing by boat (humanitarian reports show just as many ppl fleeing by this method, just either not going to Australia or its being hidden by the Australian govt's 'national security' secrecy blanket) and has amazingly penalised the refugees on the boats by placing them in detention centres where it's well documented suicide attempts and abuse have regularly taken place...
so something ain't working

Micallef releases Trump print to download, by Deleted on Feb 3, 2017 1:20:10 GMT 1, I agree that the detention centres have employed staff who committed violence and abuse. There was also a center in the Uk where abuse by staff went on. That should be dealt with properly.
Where are these boat people coming from that are seeking refugee status asylum status in Australia?
It's easy to criticise Trump and he has been well attacked for his policies. Is that to take people away from the facts behind his policies and reasons?
Here are some facts about he Australian boat people. It seems an awful long way to come by boat or are they getting to the nearest place to Australia bypassing safe countries and trying to enter Australia ilegally by boat?
Boat people are mostly citizens of Afghanistan (1,612), Iran (1,549), Iraq (542) and Sri Lanka (362) or they are stateless (895).
