I think they guy I spoke to talked about a retrospective book and a charity blind auction with pieces from a range of artists (Faile, Obey). Around May. |

This magazine has come such a long way over the past decade and really blossomed into a publication that set the standard by which other 'street-art' magazines are judged.
It's fitting that the first 'special' was a D*face release and the VNA story completes with D*face, ending on such a HIGH... the very zenith of the magazines prowess.
I look forward to a suitable finale to celebrate a wonderful group of people with a shared passion and immensely creative vision....
The VNA team embody all that is good and got many of us excited about this art-form.

Tbh, I can only see 4 listings with the mag. On an edition of 150 it seems kinda "ok". d*Face's last print "Till death do us a part" had 13 listings (here and eBay combined) on an edition of merely 50 pieces I'm sure prices will drop on eBay, no one will give that for a mag and a small print.

I own a lot of different types of prints.
I can say that the printing quality is really great.
If you where complaining about the size, i would not have said anything.
But printing quality is superb, from print to cover to packaging. and I'm fussy.
maybe you got a bad one?
There is a close up of mine,
note that any reflective discolouration is due to the plastic protective film on top that came with the print.
please point out the bad printing quality?

Always a shame to hear so much chatter about potential resale of these.
The VNA team could have easily raised the cost to ยฃ95 and still have sold out the issue but their morals are in the right place!

The thing is, I've met D*face, buffed a giant 70' wall for him while he was in RVA. The dude was super humble. On the flipside, I haven't met the legend that is Martha Cooper. While I'm huge fan of hers and thankful for all the work she's done over the years, a D*face print would mean more to mean residing in my collection due to the personal connection. I'm not made of money, I gotta pick and choose over here. |
