Its a 'cruel world' when you get a redundency payment after being made redundent ... I was made redundent once best thing ever - I walked out with a nice amount of cash from a job that wasn't the best...

It's a real knock back, and if you can't move and are in a specialist field it can take months to find another decent job. It's made even worse if your employer goes bust as I can tell you from experience that you don't even get your wages for that month and it takes months more for any redundancy pay to come from the government (which is capped). Wouldn't wish the experience on anyone, and I can understand pretty pictures on walls not being the most important thing.

they haven't received them yet and wouldn't give me a price until they checked their condition.
