Banksy - The Walled Off Hotel ★★★, by Deleted on Aug 23, 2018 17:20:52 GMT 1, Lots of folks on here have visited the hotel and posted about their experience and comments flowed and Im sure it would still be the same if someone visits for the first time or has a repeat visit.
Not everyone went for a cheap print or in search of trinkets; I'm sure that a good number of folks went before the cheap print was available.
Go visit, post details of your trip and watch the thread grow.
I agree. Sadly though the excitement and interest has died down. The interest has dwindled. Personally I think the hotel has aged well and I'm more fond then when it first came out.

The walled off souvenirs will continue hopefully. It is a good business plan and encourages visits. I cannot see why the hotel won't continue for at least a hundred years perish the thought as that means the wall will also be there in a hundred years time. I'm looking forward when we invent a time machine and all gods chosen people can be sent back to the time of Moses. Then I am sure they will be happy. |

The hotel to me is a doorway, its fine, art is great, best part for me is the Museum.
I think it's changed a lot of peoples opinions about the area, the people. What is happening in this area of our little world.
Taught us quite a bit about the power of propaganda.
It's a great advert, not so much about Banksy, but of what people can get away with and how history does repeat itself, and the powers that be including the United Nations watching it happen

It is, you should go. I would have thought someone of your obvious means would have been a couple of times by now. If funds are tight then just stick one of the copious high end prints up for sale, they bring you no pleasure being sat in storage whereas a visit to Walled Off will provide priceless memories.
