What do we all do for a living?, by jam on May 20, 2008 17:12:45 GMT 1, May I ask what kind of entrepeneuring do you entrepeneurs do? I mean I work for myself but I'm not sure that makes me an entrepeneur...
I started a distribution company while in college that handled exclusive rights to over fifty companies products in North America. A portion of our business came from e-commerce, but the majority was wholesale. I sold that business after three years and bought a third interest in related company, that evolved into half ownership when we bought out a partner only a couple years later. I am now working on a new startup .com that should go live in the fall... certainly the biggest thing I have ever attempted, so its been a lot of work, and even more fun.

What do we all do for a living?, by spirit on May 20, 2008 17:29:28 GMT 1, I am now working on a new startup .com that should go live in the fall... certainly the biggest thing I have ever attempted, so its been a lot of work, and even more fun.
I'm doing the same as a sideline to my graphic design - it's a massive project and I've been having the system built for the last year and a half out in india - should be launching about the same time as yours - I guess that makes me an entrepeneur too!

What do we all do for a living?, by bmjt on May 20, 2008 18:27:40 GMT 1, I know what you mean Skelly, i'm quite happy to throw in the towel when I finish, my parents have got a firm too, but it's in my sleepy hometown which i'm not sure I want to end up. Just yet. Still making up my mind, love it and hate it.
