Souled Out Studios • SOS, by romanywg on Jun 14, 2007 10:43:05 GMT 1, 9.08am would be ideal when I've just got into work and sat down with the first coffee of the day and logged on to my computer. But if for some reason you can't make that time could you please call me on my mobile. 07966 218034. Thanks, and look forward to hearing from you.

Souled Out Studios • SOS, by reados on Jun 14, 2007 10:44:26 GMT 1, SoS gets a lot of emails about release times and days, which time and day would be the best (BST) print release time in your opinion? Also this was interesting, the stats for people logging onto SoS yesterday............ Great Britain with 2041 sessions (46.1% of all sessions)
i might have been one of those
i guess the chances of getting one of your new prints is pretty slim then?

Souled Out Studios • SOS, by a4mnt on Jun 14, 2007 13:47:06 GMT 1, Oh yeah, Glastonbury's next week. So its raining all next week then is it? I started to pitch up on the field that got really flooded at the last one (water over the top of some peoples tents). Luckily my G/f threw a wobbly and we moved to a different field.
Phew, that was lucky then. I just lost £200 and the keys to the hire car instead. Would have been a disaster if I'd got wet as well!!
As for release time - about 5 seconds after whenever I log onto SOS would be great thanks. If not, midday or 3pm sound ok.

Souled Out Studios • SOS, by michaelscott on Jun 14, 2007 16:22:24 GMT 1, With approximately 5,000 hits on SOS yesterday...I'm certain SOS are going to go nuts with Beejoir's Shell Blood For Oil.
I'm not a UTC expert, but with Great Britain (1 time zone) having the most hits on SOS, and USA (6 time zones) being second in hits, and 17 other zones, it is almost impossible to please the people. IMO, most concerns are being notified, in some fair and timely advance, so everyone can have a chance to make arrangements at an "attempt" to buy. Of course, there are drawbacks, like SOS getting blown off the map, when 5000 Credit Cards, pounce on them at once.
So.... I say, pick a time out of a hat, OR take the 40 prints, and cut them like a puzzle, and let everyone get a piece, of the larger picture.

Souled Out Studios • SOS, by themightyreds on Jun 14, 2007 21:11:45 GMT 1, email notification of a specific release time the day before it happens is probably fairest for all. That way you've at least got time to figure out how/when to get to a machine to order from. Does mean a bit of a battle to get them though, whatever the release time is....
It's also nice to get a good description and images of the prints being released before-hand too.
btw. i'm off on the summer hols soon as well so be prepared for a flood of unexpected new releases while i'm away! ;D
