Have to go on happy pills. Looks very thick on the picture. Anyone know what it's made from?

Invader LED Print, by Jimmy Oscar on Apr 27, 2017 20:06:40 GMT 1, You'll hate me for saying it - but so many have bought into the recent price increases driven by galleries buying up stock - that if this is an edition of 250 he should sell it for $3000 minimum.
And I mean minimum - $4000 wouldn't shock me.
Otherwise 90% will be flipped from $500 to $4000 in hours.
Sell at the going rate and nothing less or it will be pointless.

It's just like when banksy released a print within 3days it was 4k+
It's the normality

Yep - you can either hope you beat millions of bots and secure a nice pay day for yourself.
Or you beat the flippers by selling at market value.
Market Value every time for me - just like Hirst / Kaws releases.

Invader LED Print, by Matt on Apr 27, 2017 20:55:45 GMT 1, Jimmy Oscar couldn't agree more on the "market value" approach.
JR does the same to some extent, he hiked the price of his prints. They sell out super slowly, and barely re-appear on secondary...
As for the argument of galleries being sole responsible for hiking up Invader prices, I think you are partly wrong.
There was a home Neptune that stood for months on Prescription Art until super recently. It was 1750 pounds and no one "snagged it up" to drive prices because it looked a bit expensive. If galleries were buying stock they would have taken it, because it was still a rare print. I bought 2 Aladdin Sanes early this year, and no one was fighting for them at 1500 USD. Same thing, galleries in your theory would have snagged them.
I sold quite a bit of my invader collection since a year to fund some OGs, and the only gallery offers I got were pretty low and by galleries that do not have the power to manipulate a market.
So I agree that 1 or 2 big guys, especially the NY one, have had an effect on the price hike (also because stock is low and pretty illiquid), but that is not enough to explain the phenomenon as a whole IMO

Invader LED Print, by samfrost on Apr 27, 2017 21:11:54 GMT 1, Agree with the above to a large extent. The forum also creates a feedback loop and has further amplified and reinforced pricing of Invader works. FWIW, I also sold my Invader pieces in the last month at silly prices.

Invader is one of the originals in this whole movement. While galleries may have some influence on the price increase, his place in history was cemented long before the past 5 months.

Invader LED Print, by nighthawk on Apr 28, 2017 1:06:22 GMT 1, I'd say release price will be £500 or so. Just because prices have risen on the aftermarket, doesn't mean that Invader and Laz will jack the price of this "planned" release. I don't think I've ever seen an artist/gallery do that actually; raise release prices by 150+%.

Try Vimeo, more classy and better quality than YouTube ! HD1080p
Edit : you can begin to look after a white pair of trousers ( more contrast ) coz the print won't be more than 500/600. You bet ? ( in live on Instagram :-))

Invader LED Print, by Shoot Again on Apr 28, 2017 8:42:22 GMT 1, Happily, I don't really like what I've seen of this print. Would be cool to have one of the big LED originals, but this looks and feels really flat. Oh well, at least I won't need to stress over the drop. You could own the original LED (from the HK Show), it's available for sale and fairly reasonable priced compared to what his prints & kits are fetching right now ;-) It weights 100kg though !!!
