Then they popped up and I got one in my cart only to get stuck there without being able to complete the purchase. Getting shut out after that kind of tease is the worst.

they initially released the link to the webpage with zero inventory (marked as sold out). they added inventory 5-10 minutes after that. wish i had kept refreshing. didn't realize what they did until too late.

I expect most of the time you hate this forum, but this is all just a true reflection of the scene and the customers that fund the Galleries and Artists. Threads like this are a great way for artists and galleries to get live feedback about print releases and hopefully help them improve things for future releases. Without threads like this it's very hard for Galleries to really gauge what's happening.
If Lazarides are reading this.

Well, I figured that was the case and kept refreshing but still only got the 'people in the queue before you' message as it was super hard to refresh and the actual print link was dead for most of the time initially. The window to get it in the cart was really short

It's the least I can do for the pathetic handling on the situation, I refuse to purchase anything from them from here on in, no matter how much I may like the work. I've just wasted 4 hours clicking only to get hoodwinked by his website. If Invader can release a print direct with less hassle then it's inexcusable for a gallery of this stature to fu** this up so badly. It's not as though he didn't have time to plan for this. My boycott starts today.
I just cancelled my subscription to Laz and stopped following on instagram. It's the least I can do for the pathetic handling on the situation, I refuse to purchase anything from them from here on in, no matter how much I may like the work. I've just wasted 4 hours clicking only to get hoodwinked by his website. If Invader can release a print direct with less hassle then it's inexcusable for a gallery of this stature to fu** this up so badly. It's not as though he didn't have time to plan for this. My boycott starts today.

I was one of the many that got to entering card details get the green tick then as processing site crashes on you. Ah well got a busy week in Israel and Palestine soon to look forward to so not all bad.
