Invader LED Print, by Happy Shopper on Aug 25, 2017 13:28:37 GMT 1, Something funny and weird .., I received this mail yesterday at 2 pm Then I ve followed the link, and got a" soldLED print " with the date of the 21/08 ( yesterday it was the 24 ) So this " gallery " put the pic before the launch but how it was sure to get one and sell it ?!?! New Art Editions is a blog for new releases... not a secondary market seller gallery. (Although they do seem to be selling some things recently)

Invader LED Print, by whob1 on Aug 25, 2017 13:38:35 GMT 1, i didnt get one but i dont get the outrage at laz, other than the year plus tease.. but the fact is, we all thought this was going to be priced higher and not even available. the tease was annoying, but the fact it showed as sold initially actually helped a lot of people score. i think the outrage at the 10 minute delay is silly, this is what helped some people actually get one. it may have actually thrown off bots (i'll conceded i dont even know how a bot works so maybe im full of it) all these complaints of "life long invader collectors (who joined here in 2017)" should have been around the block enough to keep refreshing that page. you wasted 4+ hours already, whats clicking another 15 minutes when its actually up? its no one's first rodeo. thats what i did and i was in my opinion, one of the first to see the buy button. i actually got through pretty quickly and hit that green button and .. CRASH... but everyone knew that was most likely going to happen, it was a coin flip of the internet gods at that point. seems like a dozen or so people here got them, maybe more who plan to flip and theyre keeping quiet. it wasnt impossible but it was hard, which happens on the internet when more buyers than sellers Think it was a complete mess. How hard can it be; update with proper information, set a date and time for release, and get a proper web site/server or whatever for it.

Invader LED Print, by thisisit on Aug 25, 2017 14:01:29 GMT 1, My review on their facebook: "That was the worst release I've ever seen. Lie #1: "The exact time will be released on social media on the day". You announced that the print was "live" (it wasn't) at the "time of release", meaning you wasted everyone's time by failing to make the promised statement. Lie #2: "L.E.D. by Invader is now live on our website. You can purchase the item here:" - no, it wasn't, and no, you couldn't. So that's actually two lies in one (well done!). The print immediately showed as 'SOLD OUT' (Lie #...4?) - it wasn't. It wasn't even live on your website, or available for purchase. Are you kidding? After wasting everyone's time, you then made a majorly misleading false statement that caused many of those who had waited all those hours to give up? Wow. What a disaster indeed. I know I'm just one guy, but I've unfollowed/unsubscribed/unliked all your accounts, and left you this review. I don't care who you represent or what you have for sale in the future, I will never deal with your gallery again. Zero stars." One review dropped their rating from 4.7 to 4.5 stars. Why don't you go leave a review? They deserve it. Well said, and to those who think it was a fair release and we just missed out, they are entitled to their opinion. I know that non of the 10 people i personally know that where refreshing for 5 hours got any.
Thank you for bringing this Facebook review to my notice. Working on it, already at 4.1 and i haven't reviewed yet.

Congrats to everyone that scored. In the end, there will always be unhappy people. On to the next one!

Invader LED Print, by Daniel Silk on Aug 25, 2017 14:56:10 GMT 1, Isn't this what the Artist/Gallery wants? I mean if they wanted the values to stay low, be affordable for everyone, surely they would release a massive or even unlimited edition at maybe £100 a print. A small edition release like that is designed to increase the values, so pieces being sold on eBay at massive increases is exactly what they want. To be clear, I'm not complaining, I'm just saying what's clearly the reality of the situation.

Invader LED Print, by Daniel Silk on Aug 25, 2017 15:01:26 GMT 1, The Artists and Galleries want to get into a position where they can easily sell originals for over £100,000 each, and the way to build the demand and values is to sell small editions, and allow the art to be flipped for even higher values, up, up, up! Goes the demand and values. We are all part of the process.

Invader LED Print, by Dibbs 45 on Aug 25, 2017 15:35:47 GMT 1, Move on people. There's OGs on sweettoof and Seen and there is other quality street art to buy. Life is too short and this game is full of disappointment if you are in it just for the money. Put the £1200 cash towards a canvass that you can enjoy. Let's face it! This print is aright but far from stunning.

Invader LED Print, by nobokov on Aug 25, 2017 16:04:17 GMT 1, I don't get all the angst and complaining about missing releases. Perhaps I have extremely low expectations, but it works to avoid hurt feelings most of the time - when trying for releases, I have no expectations that I will actually be able to purchase one. It's like buying a lottery ticket - you buy one, but don't feel anything when you draw 0 numbers on the night of the drawing. Or maybe I'm just dead inside....
To me, writing bad reviews and inciting others to also follow suit might be more detrimental to the reviewer than the reviewed, as it might reflect poorly on the individual reviewer. Buyers who will purchase art that they are drawn to, will likely continue to purchase even if others have written negatively about previous failed print drops.
I do agree that more information would've been helpful, but I don't have any expectations that we should receive it. Stating that the edition size is 100, shouldn't necessarily mean that all 100 should or need to be available for sale. They own the works until they are sold to others so if they would like to allocate them to their friends or family, that's fine. Plenty of websites are terrible, and it wasn't a surprise that this newly revamped website would have issues as well. For other drops, I think the best thing to do would be to study their ordering processes to figure out how to cut down on steps.
I think that if Laz announced the exact time and it showed a buy button immediately, just as many would've found other ways to explain the missed attempt (bots, etc). But I guess those who just give up, focus energies negatively, or don't look to figure out processes, just give the rest of us a better chance at purchasing limited stuff.

Price is outrageous IMO but I won't knock people for buying. Low quantity, high demand makes people pay $2K for $20 sneakers. Happens everywhere. Simple economics. As I said...I'll just buy some older Eine, Pose, Faile without issue while others stay awake all day hitting F6 for pieces that A) not as strong B) they don't even really like.

Invader LED Print, by soupy on Aug 25, 2017 17:25:00 GMT 1, Nearly 50 pages.. its over people you missed out on making a profit move on you greedy c**t!! There will be more profitable prints being released around first week of December so come back then.. inshallah..
funny you mention profit as the motive. believe it or not, invader has a well established fan base with a lot of collectors. there will always be an element of profiteering in any line of limited edition collectibles. however, to lump everyone on here into that group is extremely misguided. but agreed that everyone should move on. there will be other releases tomorrow and the next day. just don't support flippers.

Invader LED Print, by Deleted on Aug 25, 2017 20:44:57 GMT 1, I love art I truly do, I am very passionate about it and honestly believe I am very lucky to be witnessing this art movement happening. I have met some great people, I have been able to deal and converse with some fantastic artist's which will make for great stories by the fire in years to come and have some good art to look at on the wall. We should all just enjoy the moment, this is all part of the story of the Urban Art movement. I had no intention of buying the Invader print but found myself completely wrapped up in the moment and found myself F5ing the fu#k out of my keyboard, got really excited when one went in the basket but sadly to no avail.........great fun, got the kids all excited....next time maybe.

That comment was like a wet towel; entirely useless.
