Haha, the lack of responses to this demonstrates how much people are more apt to brag about success than admit to failure. It kind of limits the credibility of those opining about the relative ease/difficulty of this particular drop. Someone remarked earlier that people who failed to get one gave up too quickly and missed the delayed drop. That's definitely not accurate. I failed to secure one and I tried continuously from the second laz announced the release till a few minutes after they announced it was sold out. Several others were also able to cart a print but not complete their purchase.

I wasn't exactly sure what was going on but I had low expectations. I saw an option was available to Enquire about this piece and I sent Laz an Email thinking possibly due to site malfunctions or perhaps some other reason he was handling the release through Email. Then I gave up on the F5- Lesson learned. FAILED!

Invader LED Print, by nighthawk on Sept 1, 2017 16:32:19 GMT 1, If you had been F5'ing all day, and "knew" how their site worked, it just seemed too unrealistic and illogical that the print sold out as it first appeared. Actually it wasn't possible, as the site was slow and crashing! That was my take on it anyways, so I figured they loaded it up as "sold out" by error, and was hoping it would go live - which it did!

Uh, someone asked members who missed out to comment. I was just responding to his question since nobody else did.
And I thought it was funny because 10 people chimed in pretty quickly when someone else asked who succeeded in getting one.

I responded to the question to counter the accusation that none of the prints were actually released to the public. I was also genuinely surprised/over the moon that I'd grabbed one, and don't want to simply moan when I miss out. Nothing to do with bragging.
My checkout process was absolute chaos. Like almost every drop is.
My ping was around 40ms at the time, and my broadband speed is so rubbish I've got my 3rd Sky/Openreach engineer visit taking place tomorrow.
I was just lucky. I didn't stop checking once the Sold Out messager appeared. I kept going for over 15 minutes, and at 16:18 I had two emails in my inbox confirming the sale.
On another note, anyone contacted the gallery to see if they can pick it up rather than have it delivered?

I spoke to them yesterday and they advised me that they are hoping to get the prints on their way end of this week and next week.. I can only pass on what i have been told.
The lack of comms isnt good, but lets all be patient.. im sure they will arrive shortly.
Im also thinking that if we all keep sending e mails asking where they are, this will just make things worse.. either by not answering them, or answering loads of e mails with a reply.
