It’s a classics eBay vault though.
If I am willing to pay, let’s say 5k on an item, the seller will never see my highest offer without a second bidder. So you have a lot of fake accounts that sellers can easily make just to increase the bid to what the buyer would have paid if not for a second bidder.
Then you also have the fake bidder to remove bids that don’t reach what you want but also didn’t want to put a reserve Bc people tend to not bid on these.
