Transparency is the new way forward with these latest events

That’s a yearly event .🤔🧐 Whilst we are on the subject , no one use charity sales to justify the secondary market worth😑

Graffiti Prints , by jsher on Jun 21, 2020 11:54:14 GMT 1, Looks like winners have been emailed. Would have thought that a raffle would have had some form of visual draw. You would also have also thought that there would have been an age check when selling their tickets. Great that they did what they did for charity but it was effectively online gambling. (The sums of money involved would've also meant they needed a license.) Imagine GP operating improperly, would be a real surprise... They don't even have T&Cs.
That print stuck in Cali is probably on the wall of one of GP's mate's already.

This is utterly wonderful!! You must be delighted and thanks for sharing a photo of it. Didn’t take long to get it back from your framer! Out of curiosity, is it framed behind glass?

It actually came framed by framie which is super cool because i have always wanted to get one of my prints done there. Did an amazing job on it. Yes it is behind glass.

Graffiti Prints , by koala on Jul 1, 2020 19:03:42 GMT 1, I'm still somewhat new to the urban art scene but i'm seeing first hand these so called "flippers". So frustrating. One in particular was the Fin Dac Sansho gold leaf edition of 30. One i had my eye on and almost checked out when it was swiped up just to find it on ebay for well over 200% increase. I'm sure there is an entire thread dedicated to this topic but i figured i would complain on this thread since it pertained to the graffiti prints online show. I buy art so i can hang it on my wall. I actually enjoy the framing process and end result. This whole buying so you can flip it for a profit is crap.

My comment doesn’t relate to GP but is a more general response to your comments. Sadly for many people art is just another commodity and where there’s demand for something there will be others who seek to profit from it. Just look at the secondary sneakers or watch market for example. Raffles are now commonplace with the former and bots and fake accounts are used by some to generate hundreds of entries. Where there are flippers there will also be collectors so you’re entering into a very competitive market space and it’s not easy to find ways for sellers to combat increasingly sophisticated bots. It’s frustrating when you miss out on a drop but where the disappointments make the successes all the sweeter.

Is the black one sold? Can't find it. I wouldn't mind paying markup for this one

I can’t see it under completed listings so I think it must have been removed from sale there. Only 4 hours remaining on the white variant too.

Exactly this. I know if I was interested in this then my first (and max) bid would be going in at approximately 10 seconds before the auction ends.
