I like Banksy and his team ( which one ? )!. The message and composition of his painting was stronger and funnier.. Anyway Banksy never hided himself about great ideas ( you know this phrase fromPicasso : “ great artists steal, bad ones copy “ I don’t want to take part of this, but I can understand this letter ...

I put an anecdotal link about an artist that said that he has done that before.

Or it could be what Camillo Tarozzi did in Bologna with the Blu street pieces in 2016: the preparation phase with the glue base necessary for removing the entire piece from the wall.
In fact, a very interesting preservation approach for frescos - dates back to the 18th century:
Either way, not good for street art.
