Maybe, but the kaws craze is cooling off I think. I wouldn't recommend paying over 3.5 either. I might have bought one at retail, but even retailers were scalping the things, out of hand.
And the lean, man, I think some of those toy collectors are more nitpicky than grandmas. It's funny to check out the toy forums and see all these kids with their curio cabinets, they'd get along great with grandmas. Vinyl, it's the new Hummels.
But the lean, one leg goes straight down, the other goes out at an angle, which differs slightly from the legs on the small version but I don't think it's a lean issue. I think it creates a bit of an optical illusion like it's leaning but the centerline is perfectly straight up. Maybe the leg was an oversight or maybe it had to be designed that way to support the weight since it's so much larger? I doubt kaws would have approved it if he was unhappy with it.

somebody is selling a 4ft on KR for over $6000 US , I don't think he was happy with the lean , not to sure thou and the keychains are still available on kawsone for $60 US

I think they were 2.5-3k direct from Japan, but as someone pointed out in this thread a lot of Kaws account holders sold them at flipper prices so a lot of people that picked one up will be looking to get most of, if not all there money back... I think patience will help you get one at a decent price
