Sylvia Ji ๐บ๐ธ San Francisco Artist โข Day of the Dead Art, by kalle on Jul 4, 2013 10:14:46 GMT 1, Yes it's a very nice print. It's true that you will get other Sylvia prints for less, but as mentioned this is purpple crush and If you can find one in the UK for less; let me know and I will bring down the price. My dream would be to own an actual painting; I know one gallery in Washington which is selling her pictures but not seen any price tags yet......

Sylvia Ji ๐บ๐ธ San Francisco Artist โข Day of the Dead Art, by maseo7 on May 25, 2017 16:57:34 GMT 1, I hate to ask what Home Mars is worth now as I sold mine to a Taglialatella guy last year. Are these asking prices being met or is it a hype machine and speculators buying for fear of missing out? If you loved these images so much why was there a struggle to sell these for $1500 just last year? Crazy to me, like someone spending over 20k on a Banksy Donuts (corny to me) just because it has a signature. Do you love the art or the value of it?

Crazy to me, like someone spending over 20k on a Banksy Donuts (corny to me) just because it has a signature. Do you love the art or the value of it? I am guessing you don't own any Donuts. You should know mate the art market is crazy. If you think ยฃ20k for a donut (if you can find now at that price) is crazy now just wait till 2020... I am into Opals and have spend a few years sweating my bollocks off to dig for them. With a Opal it is all about the colour. I have had opals that some buyers would pay $6-8K for and then some one else who just falls in love with it will pay $20k is it worth $20k not to me but to the buyer it was worth every cent plus she bought me dinner. I guess i am saying all of this stuff we covert is only worth what people will pay. Less people play the price goes down the more people play the price goes up, its a bit like bitcoin. Talking of which i will sell both of my Donuts for 2000bit coins Surprised no ones snagged your Ji,s Jon as they are absolutely stunning. I am sure if a buy popped around you would get a drink of some sort and maybe even a Phish t.Shirt.....

Sylvia Ji ๐บ๐ธ San Francisco Artist โข Day of the Dead Art, by maseo7 on May 26, 2017 14:03:34 GMT 1, I understand the art market is crazy. That's my point. There are too many price setters and speculators manipulating the market. Street art has been gentrified for lack of a better word. All I am saying is that Stik prices went crazy because people on these boards drove up the prices organically because the people wanted the prints, not because we saw a gallery was charging X amount for this artist (Invader) so now I can ask for that so others are buying for fear of missing out on the next "big thing." I still want a Stik Lovers if anyone is willing to sell because I love the image but I could care less for Liberty. I just dissed the Donuts piece because it was an edition that were all signed so it commands a big price tag for the police escorting a giant donut. Much respect to Banksy but I don't want that framed on my wall. I have written this in another post, but Banksy's movie proved that Mr Brainwash could be a hack of an artist and some people would go nuts for it if Banksy co-signed and it worked, but will those prices hold? Imagine Banksy re-released all of his prints to devalue everything, that would be crazy, or would it be just like Banksy, to give back something to the people. Hmmmmm......
