some of these are typical of older Banksy prints with large black areas like LIITA and RC, in many of these considered to be in otherwise good condition, will have marks in the black areas only visible in certain conditions, hardly well and truly fcked?
That said, im sure that many of the owners with well and truly fcked prints will be delighted with their return on what they would unlikely have thought was an investment when the spnked some of their grant on them.

I know of a MIRACLE theyβve achieved selling a destroyed Banksy print for above (sic !) its estimate. Condition report they produced at the time shown no issue with the print whatsoever (sic !) as they didnβt even bother taking it out of its frame to check the back ! So personally Iβd definitely be more of a seller myself there (if I had a f***ed print) than a buyer. Make sure you inspect the print condition yourself seems to be a reasonable advice ;-)

My advice when framing would be to ONLY frame using a float mount especially if you plan to keep it for many years as anti UV glass protects a lot but not 100% over many years. And if you have expensive prints that are framed with mount get them checked just in case!

Not everyone on here is overly concerned with condition. I have picked up some prints that the more anal wouldnβt touch with a barge pole. I have no doubt that some of them might not be readily sellβable on here but they would sell and at plenty auction houses beyond Forum. Forum are not the only auction house to sell prints in less than perfect condition.

That seems to be pretty standard these days as Pest Control are authenticating but have not sent out Certificates for over a year now.

Looks like they used a photo of a signed print and photoshopped over the signature that was below the banksy logo but leaving the parts which overlapped with the logo. Numbering removed as well. Would request images of the actual print if you're interested in it. All this said - LN is a beauty. |

Would have been interesting to see how it would have done if it had been minty. Always thought it was a bit above Laugh Now value wise (as an edition of 250) but that had a huge result today. |
