Forum Auctions β’ Banksy Marketplace π¬π§, by Dermoth on Oct 27, 2020 20:05:29 GMT 1, Just updated banksy-value.com and the index. We are now pretty much flat (-2.8%) for October. These results have essentially compensated the poor results from other auctions this month. Thank you for the update fusion0001, banksy-value.com is becoming a very useful tool for keeping track of the market. Maybe this Morons Sepia has slipped your attention:
I couldn't find it in the database.
For completion, this Morons Sepia hammered at β¬68000 before fees.

Forum Auctions β’ Banksy Marketplace π¬π§, by Wanchope on Oct 27, 2020 20:50:46 GMT 1, This appears to suggest auction houses have a buyers premium of approx 25%..... Who knew ! That might include the artist resale %. So not all will go to auction house. They probably end up with 20%
Iβm up for it! 25% forum said plus the 4% to Banksy! Wtaf and what do they get from the seller? Seriously wish my work was as easy and final as their process! Never understand why people pay such ridiculous amounts and my broker said a lot of people donβt always know what they have to pay.....

Forum Auctions β’ Banksy Marketplace π¬π§, by Deleted on Oct 27, 2020 21:00:20 GMT 1, Youβre a very odd little man arenβt you. Even when for once Iβm in agreement with you, you manage to find a way to make yourself sound like a turd. Iβve always agreed with market value full stop. Somewhat annoyingly for you market value and LV value donβt always match up which is the issue. Believe it or not itβs possible to be analytical about the price of something even if you own it. Give it a go some time. My buying and selling days are done. It was a glorious 6 months. Iβm moving on to grown men who Doodle and small collectible Japanese Hentai figures. Lol, get off your high horse, Iβm not waiting for a little troll like you for some form of acceptance on pricing a Banksy. I wish you the best of luck in your new hobby, I bet that community canβt wait for your input. As you would say..... Peace out !
Thank you. Thatβs really sweet. X

Forum Auctions β’ Banksy Marketplace π¬π§, by jakecskis on Oct 27, 2020 21:05:43 GMT 1, Not to mention they pulled a rat and TM....Β Second time in the last few auctions that we have seen a TM pulled. One of the few prints we don't really have a solid value on atm.
Galley, which shall go unnamed is asking 80K ono USD for U/S TM. Was also hoping to see a high hammer on it today.

Or we could do it online and save a ton.
Also we could build our cash flow by collecting from buyers and not paying sellers
Blue and white would be good colours for the site. Conveys credibility.
We could name after something often found in sales rooms, like hammer, or even better...Paddle

Haha, you missed this bit from your quote of the condition report:
"section of paper loss to lower extreme edge, most likely due to the trimming process"
You can it zooming in on the image.
Yep many early prints dont have the stamp.

yes βthe trimming processβ would be my concern (I presume this was done manually by one of the owners of the print - which I donβt think is recommended !
βSmall stain to upper left corner; section of paper loss to lower extreme edge, most likely due to the trimming process; soft ripples to black background, inherent to the creation of the work. Sheet is loose. Unframedβ

Forum Auctions β’ Banksy Marketplace π¬π§, by samo on Nov 24, 2020 14:03:29 GMT 1, Wow, I didn't know these existed.
Lot 206. Banksy - Donuts (Special Edition - Chocolate)
The rare and important screenprint with extensive hand-colouring in coloured pencil, 2009, signed and numbered from the edition of 25 in orange crayon, on Arches 88 wove paper, printed and published by Pictures on Walls, London, with full margins, sheet 560 x 755mm (22 x 29 ΒΎ in)
This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Pest Control office.
Unquestionably one of the artist's rarest graphic works with no example hitherto seen on the open market. Indeed it is such a rare work that it is virtually unknown to the wider Banksy collecting community.

Forum Auctions β’ Banksy Marketplace π¬π§, by saint on Nov 24, 2020 15:18:35 GMT 1, I asked in 2016 if there was any other versions of donuts ever done, as at that time was compiling a list of all print variants and artist proofs, they flat out lied to me and said "No, we only ever did the 2 regular editions of Donuts".... But they told me all the other variants of prints so my list has been wrong for the last 4 years..... Actually, they probably lied about all the prints and I'm missing loads of info.....
What harm in telling me they had done this one?? It's a great version, best version hands down and I own one of the normal ones.
