Anyone who missed the boat, may be able to catch a ride on the U/S dingy soon? I wonder when the last time a Banksy was ever passed? That's the new record to note.
as an us owner Iโm pleased with the HC BME and LIITA result. The over 200k LIITA sale last autumn was a freak result and whilst I got excited, started looking at new houses cars exotic holidays, I knew I would not sell mine for similar. 175k and Iโd sell and weโre not far off

Too many Banksy auctions this month in my opinion I agree... but given the volume, they are holding value incredibly well. Imagine if we went back to 1 Banksy auction a quarter like there was 3/4/5 years ago.... prices would rocket now. |

So of the figures above so kindly pulled together by LV what does the seller actually receive from Forum. Multiply the above figures by .75 and that is approx hammer prices. Sellers commission would be between 0-5% of hammer, although I expect most sellers would have negotiated zero seller fee. |

I was revved up to sell after the high LIITA us as it was a sum I could then play with. But Banksy is here to stay and when the flooding of the market settled and the normal auction frequencies return we should see demand pressure.

As a one-off seller - who owned this print such TCR Ghetto - the lack of on-costs and commisson was very appealing.

The few super-strong performers have offset the weaker prints, so total index is +4.11%
There is a clear adjustment where high-end images performed well and low-end images less so (you can see it on the high-end vs low-end charts on the site), which exactly compensated the separation which occurred after summer.

Thats got to be totally subjective. Letโs face it, who would have guessed Pulp Fiction would fall into the desirable!? Even Banksy must ponder what he was thinking on that one!!
But, this is just my opinion.
I personally would rather hang QV or WSM, more desirable for me.

Tough for me seeing spending that much today on a signed Pulp Fiction with mat burn will look like a good investment in 10+ years. Just WOW. I love Mr. B, too. every chance it will be, but if you paid a few hundred quid for a print 15 years ago and you sell it for a vast amount today its still not much of a gamble. If you are that concerned about how much you could have sold it for then its best not to sell it and wait for the arse to drop from the market or not...

I'm 99% sure the Richter passed with a $17,000 bid - I think the page updates dynamically as long as it's open and the counter was showing zero with a $17K high bid. There was an $18,000 bid earlier in the week, and the reserve was off, but that bid was gone the next day. |

I tend to agree the market for these originals/editioned items is really gathering momentum especially as print prices are so high people are trading up.

It feels like the market has become rather saturated and there could be some bargains to be had.
The price correction seems to be in full effect and what with stock market taking a big hit, It is difficult to see anything except a continued correction on prices. I also expect the unsigned vs signed price point to continue heading back to the ratio it was pre-covid.
I hope I am wrong but what does everyone else think?
Any predictions on upcoming lots?
