., by Graffiti Prints on Jul 10, 2017 21:01:18 GMT 1, Why is it embrassing? I have not seen the range but it's with four marketing who is one of the best agents in the business - stone island and other cool brands I seen eine in Berlin with a collage jacket on with a big E looked cool to me Every artist is entitled to go where they want with there art Haring did swatch watches what's the difference Is it culture vultures or a natural tie up In this case it's a natural tie up imo Not that I think art works on tees to be honest I think it takes away from the art But some artists like Eine and haring for example I think it does work Banksy images work too, probably more tees out there than prints Sometimes I think people are way to quick to judge artists on here esp bigger they get in popularity I wonder if a GP artist is starting a clothing line soon.... Personally I think it would work better with his artwork then with his name. Like "HELL" or "AMAZEMENT" - not EINE.
lol that's why I try not to post on threads
It's easy for people to think I have some motive
I said in the thread I don't like art on tees and no clothing lines as far as I know with our crew
But some lines are great like parra and mau mau thc to name two
Artists can do what they want though where's the rules?
Who sets them the collectors? Galleries? Auction houses? Or artists themselves to how they roll
If your favioute brand wanted to work with you would you say no
Best to try and fail than not try
Forget rules no stopping street art going more global, just look at all the new street art museums popping up over the world next couple of years
No way I could have saw that back in the early days of GP never mind collecting back in early 2000.
