Bored of current threads, I figured why not discuss artists 1v1, a famous one vs another lesser known talent that deserves just as much recognition (imo).

So i ll start with Revok vs 2501. I personally prefer 2501 although the current market clearly says otherwise. But anyone else feel 2501's work is a much stronger artist yet totally overlooked because... uhhhh.... I dont really know why to be honest!?

Does anyone really know outside a handful of people why one artist succeeds and another doesn't? But I suppose management similar to a sport agent with the right credentials and better contacts goes a long way towards success. But from a collector's perspective, I'd say the addition of color and symmetry also go a long way. 2501 has mostly painted in black and white throughout his career and his works are free flowing and, at a quick glance, lack symmetry or balance which a lot of people find difficult to appreciate.

I've gotten lost in the past following the lines in 2501's murals like water flowing down a stream. If I had to choose between attending one or the other's on the same night, I'd choose 2501.

Is 2501 one of the greatest writers of all time?
