Im thinking you are the illusive artist as thou doth protest too much about everything he does; dissapointing hotel, shambolic print release etc etc

Banksy in the Daily Mail, by jimbofatz on Jun 24, 2017 22:26:04 GMT 1, At this point IF Banksy finishes his career as an unknown entity -- he will forever be known or presumed to be Robert Del Naja. Books will be written/there is a mountain of evidence. So the draw will go to Robert Del Naja. On the other hand IF Banksy ever reveals himself it is incredibly likely at this point that Robert Del Naja is the man.
It is becoming comical how people on this board and others that track everything Banksy does and spend thousands of pounds and hours trying to grab a piece of him can pick up Robert Del Naja signed prints of their choice for 90 pounds right now at POW.

Banksy in the Daily Mail, by Deleted on Jun 24, 2017 22:48:43 GMT 1, I am fairly confident that most that collect Banksy could not care less who he actually is. It is an unimportant detail. The people who do want to know just want to know for the sake of it being news.

Where is this panic taking place ? Somebody had better tell Hangup and Castlegallery to knock a few quid off their latest prices.

I think the story is bullshit.
Also, his prices are not as a result of anonymity.

No animosity intended in this and my opinion but I truly believe and I know a few others do that his popularity has to a certain extent been driven by the anonymity and will be hurt should the identity come out. All markets fall as well as rise at some point! Peace!

Keep your eyes and ears open as when you are proved correct you'll scoop whatever you want for a few hundred quid once the market crashes.

Banksy in the Daily Mail, by Rouen Cathedral on Jun 25, 2017 0:05:53 GMT 1, It's all fake news and alternate facts. The mystery of banksy will be kept even when the truth is actually revealed. The mystery is what makes him even if it becomes not a mystery. People will still push it to keep prices where they want.

If those things weren't so creepy I'd be tempted.
I'm also confused what they are? Prints, gicees? Printed on plain paper?

Reverse psychology is a technique involving the advocacy of a belief or behavior that is opposite to the one desired, with the expectation that this approach will encourage the subject of the persuasion to do what actually is desired: the opposite of what is suggested.
(Wikipedia).

In other words, pull the wool?.........
......... Back in the 17th century, people used to don these elaborate wigs, which looked woolly. Set them on wrong, and you would obscure the vision of the person wearing it. That is the most likely origin for the adage, 'to pull wool over someone's eyes', meaning to deceive or hoodwink.

Most know he is, but nobody actually cares. Why destroy the mystery, the truth is that people don't actually want to know and when they do know, they choose to ignore it anyway.
