its was done on a 12 head hp printer then i took to printers and had to float screen over it which is super difficult and then varnish. this is my most expensive print to produce by a country mile twice as much as make love was, but it would have been impossible to screen print all of it as we would never have achieved all the tones in the colours etc.
i could not avoid doing a pigment print and my attitude has changed a lot towards these types of print as sometimes its much better to do than screening....

I really liked some of her past pieces so I contacted the gallery immediately with the intent to purchase a medium sized canvas. The pieces are definitely nice but the pricing seemed plenty strong so I decided against it.
Maybe she has a larger following than I'm familiar with that justifies those price points? Either way definitely nice canvas pieces, not so certain of the lighted pieces - probably have to see those in person to appreciate them.

I really liked the work, it had a very fresh and vibrant feel to it and the brush strokes and colour compositions were excellently combined....and pricing was incredibly good, if I hadn't made some commitments already I think I might have made a purchase.

I thought this release may interest people here & I have not posted in a while, it's been a mad non-stop year for us.
we are gearing up for a large retrospective print show with over 60 works framed up in the same space in Berlin in mid-September, with a few special print launches too.
it's a very special event and I'm sure it will interest lots of people on here, we are only a tiny part of it.
MadC NYC 1982 Print Release
Last time we made a print for Claudia back in 2014 we mixed Giclee and Screenprint to achieve her beautiful tones and colour mixes.
I loved the work and it taught us a lot about mixing giclee and screens and how problematic it is, but I have wanted for a while to give her the full on 20 colours + treatment on a print.
Last year we gave her a Print brief of NYC 1982 Wild Style type Vibe & Colours for 2 canvases, one in black and one in white.
she did not disappoint, but boy she made it hard to get them colours and tones.
As always we went the full distance and perfected her work into a 23 colour screen print.
6 months of testing and testing to get it right, but we are so pleased with the results.
Our finest work to date colours POP off the Paper, I am very proud of it as you can see
