Fantastic, thanks! Seem to be econospace (after some googling), I have been looking for such a product for a while to get rid of the paper against glass problem to frame posters in cheap frames

Invader RVE Repetition Variation Evolution Print, by FЯ on Jun 27, 2017 22:01:23 GMT 1, Edge to edge framing can be very effective and is often great as it means you do not need to hinge on the reverse. However if it's something you want to do make sure you go to a decent framer, I've seen some absolutely shocking things happen to sheets of paper that have been edge framed, including staples shot through the extreme edges of the sheet, and pressure marks from the backboard pressing against the sheet and the spacers. Its done at a very good framer, dont worry
i was shocked when i saw how float mounting is done, im surprised anyone wants that do to their prints at all.

Invader RVE Repetition Variation Evolution Print, by FЯ on Jun 27, 2017 22:03:31 GMT 1, You dont always need to matt or float. There are other options. i favour edge to edge framing... How does that work, are the frame mouldings acid free (and the paint harmless) or do you use some sort of very thin distance/protection? Still in a sorrow to have missed out on this release (and the meadow hehe), had hoped to get my first invader but didnt pay attention so I was all busy F5-ing overtheinfluences page Its all conservation, its spacers basically. Mark explained it to me once about how he does larger prints like the pejac with spacers and i think he has it down to a T.

Invader RVE Repetition Variation Evolution Print, by Charlie Bronson on Jun 27, 2017 22:30:14 GMT 1, Thank you for these explanations but why the 1st August. An event must come to disrupt the cryptos? there is a large BTC event on august 1 when they may hard-fork the BTC blockchain, essentially splitting it into two currencies - it is predicted to severely affect all altcoins including Ethereum. I'd look into it and plan accordingly (although it's hard to tell if the effect will be a hard negative or a positive on altcoins). don't mean to derail this thread; feel free to PM if you want to talk about it further!
This^^^
The eth flash crash due to a massive sell off by one trader last Wednesday broke a lot of people, and made just a few very rich. One trader had an automatic buy placed of 3800 eth if it hit 10 cents or lower...which it did for a short time last Wednesday during the crash. He also had an automatic sell in place if it went over $300..which it did after a few hours/the market was stabilized. He made over $1,100,000 off of a $380 investment.
Some traders got royally f'd because they had an automatic sell in place if it went below a certain number. Thing is, with a flash crash it didn't go down to xxx dollars, it went straight to 10 cents. All those traders who had an auto sell in place if it hit below let's say $250 got screwed because they essentially sold all their eth for 10 cents each since it flash crashed straight down to 10 cents from $300+.
That being said, I'm staying clear of the digital currency market until some stabilization protocols are put into place. I don't have the stomach to ride that roller coaster. Congrats on whoever scored this print btw.

That HF Meadow is truly stunning.... and nicely framed, think this would work well on RVE.

Invader RVE Repetition Variation Evolution Print, by thisisit on Jun 27, 2017 23:46:24 GMT 1, I spent some time reading all 18 pages. and i would like to share some thoughts on this.
I had an explosion print in cart in 2015 from HOCA but didn't buy because I decided I could not afford one at the time. Purely a perception based decision in relation to the artist and the price.
Since that time (regretting not getting explosion) I managed to quickly secure an IK16 in early 2016 on secondary market that i sadly can't proudly display due to the nature of its sealed packaging state.
I have been waiting since mid 2015 for an invader print I can potentially frame and enjoy.
Its 2017 and invader decided to surprise us on 26 June with a release on his website. There is no hour that passes without me thinking that my order might not be fulfilled at the end...
and here is my synopsis of the print I've been waiting for 2 years:
is this invaders best print? Possibly Not is this a great invader print? Possibly Yes Is this a huge print in relation to other releases by the artist? YES Would have I preferred a massive invader SnowWhite print? YES
But I do think this new print is one that is more grown up. (even though i don't feel grown up) It does look more sophisticated and i can see how there is more room for interpretation and evolution of meaning over time. It also seems like the composition of this print was really-really thought through. What i like the most is how it looks like invader language/hieroglyphics. Its all about order vs disorder and how the mind plays with the grid. how did the artist evolve the character vs how your mind would. i don't think there is another invader print that raises so many questions.

Invader RVE Repetition Variation Evolution Print, by spirit on Jun 27, 2017 23:46:36 GMT 1, there is a large BTC event on august 1 when they may hard-fork the BTC blockchain, essentially splitting it into two currencies - it is predicted to severely affect all altcoins including Ethereum. I'd look into it and plan accordingly (although it's hard to tell if the effect will be a hard negative or a positive on altcoins). don't mean to derail this thread; feel free to PM if you want to talk about it further! That being said, I'm staying clear of the digital currency market until some stabilization protocols are put into place. I don't have the stomach to ride that roller coaster. Congrats on whoever scored this print btw. This is fascinating... both parts!
First a guy takes a punt on there being a flash crash of Etherium and sets up the buy and sell orders - with a ridiculously low buy and a high sell. If it happens, he'll make over a million with a very small outlay. And unlike say placing a sporting accumulator bet, he doesn't even need to outlay anything until the flash crash happens!
Second, people place auto sell orders to limit their losses and protect them if prices fall, but if prices crash then they auto-sell for almost nothing - the very thing they set up to protect them is what ends up killing them... is it possible to set up a sell order that can recognise and NOT sell if there is a flash crash?
I do like the idea of placing low bets on things that have a massive payout if they happen... minimum risk, maximum reward.

Invader RVE Repetition Variation Evolution Print, by docean on Jun 28, 2017 0:12:49 GMT 1, Can people take their BS crypto chat elsewhere? Let's discuss Invader and art.
I like the print because it's so damn iconic. It reminds me of the game, it reminds me of all the times I've spotted the little aliens around the world before I even knew who he was. It's fun to see them pop up (so F*** the people who keep taking them down)
I've gotten people who don't even give a damn about art to start looking for them all over. There's something awesome about that
So yeah, was the print pricey? Sure, but you can't knock the guy for making money. He didn't charge you admission to enjoy any of his public pieces around the world did he?
If ya like it cool, if ya don't that's cool too.

It's coming from Europe though, so if you're in the UK, it shouldn't attract VAT, should it?

Apart from the odd refund for strange reasons already discussed I've not heard of any, if the monies ben taken it looks like orders are now completed.

Keep an eye on eBay at the weekend- once people know their order won't be cancelled there will be plenty

Invader RVE Repetition Variation Evolution Print, by dani on Jun 28, 2017 16:48:46 GMT 1, I received the FedEx email but I'll be stressed until I actually have it in hand. I had it shipped to my work and if they didn't include both my name and the business name on the label it won't get to me. I considered emailing them to make sure it got shipped to exactly the address listed in my confirmation email, but based on the way things were going I was worried that would just get my order cancelled.
