Pejac - Scattercrow print, by Blakeies on Jul 14, 2017 22:58:19 GMT 1, Sorry but that just sounds stupid. (I'm not insulting you but without seeing the evidence I can't judge you either) I'm most just opening a can of worms its ok, she buys hers**t, i buy mys**t, it works for us ;-) She did draw the line at a Bast Smurf with a big windy dick that i came home with pissed one night. I remember her words.............................. lets say she was not a happy bunny edit, just found pic
This is one of the funniest things I've read on here in a while. I can only imagine how my mrs would react if i rocked up with that one day

I went to opening party of that show. 2007 ish. It was a joint show at Leonard St Gallery. Bast and Judith Supine if I remember correctly. All the Bast (save the print release) were Smurfs with huge willys

Or, I could've had everything set up to use Chrome, PayPal and at my office using their internet which is generally a lot faster than at home on wifi or on my mobile...
Or, you're right and I used the bot I spec'd above...

Youre not. Mind your own business and go about your day. Youre all adults, act like it.
Doxing people for flipping makes you a pathetic individual.

I was surprised by this email from max as well, no way it was 7s, it took my PayPal at least 7s and I was using my nasa like work internet.....

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by bwilson on Jul 15, 2017 7:09:35 GMT 1, You know this was a bullshit release, there is no way a print can ever sell out in 7 seconds, to add insult to injury, the studio brags about it, like its some achievement for an artist. The usual forum officiando's are also keeping quiet, no way was there ever 80 prints for release in the first instance. If it smells likes**t, it usually taste likes**t.
I managed to get one manually just fine. Didn't think I was as fast as 7 seconds tho, maybe I was

I can`t say how long it took as it felt like 10 minutes until I made my way through to the checkout but I know that I didn`t run any bot or somthing like that. Good old F5ing per hand, Chrome browser and I payed with Paypal.
Sorry for all that missed and congratulations to all fans that will receive a print!

I agree - the more I think about it.....I was assured that all 80 would be available with 'absolutely no pre-orders or reserved prints'....it's impossible to checkout and sellout in 7sec's. I'm not bitter just don't like feeling I/others have been shafted. Nature of the beast, I know....

No, not directly but 80 prints in 7secs?....even 20secs - Not possible...not even for Invader!

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by Art Fan 2011 on Jul 15, 2017 9:06:20 GMT 1, I wonder what happens when there are enough people with bots going for the same release, whilst bots in theory will run at the same speed I guess internet speeds will dictate which bot wins and which bot loses.
7 seconds id certainly possible, especially with the use of auto-fill, although some manual input is still needed. I suspect it is the same people that get lucky over and over again whilst most (me included) just miss out.
To try and compare Pejac with Invader is an insult to Invader, the 2 artists are literally planet`s apart.

Super duper lightning fast broadband and auto fill ? 20 people trying to get one for you or is it just plain luck ?? WTF it added 2 prints to my basket I'll never know !?!? Was I lucky - no as I tried to pay for 2 for some reason as the confirm button informed me !! Am I gutted - a little... will i be successful in other print drops - maybe/ maybe not !! Who knows .... At the end of the day it's just a piece to hang on your wall and look at !!! There were far worse things happening yesterday rather than missing out on a print release !!! Just saying !!!

Not all bots run at the same speed, it's all down to how they are written.
And like you said internet/server speed plays a role also but you need a decent bot/script in the fist place

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by Art Fan 2011 on Jul 15, 2017 9:50:11 GMT 1, It is not a level playing field, your right. First it was how quick is your internet speed, now its how quick is you bot. Perhaps the best way is to run a lottery system, but then it really is down to good old fashioned luck.
All this frustration and insanely fast sell outs is great news for galleries and artists alike, it helps build the hype for future release`s and cements price on previous work.
Bots and high release prices are the future (sadly), £100 drops by the top artists with days to make up your mind are looooong gone.
