Pejac - Scattercrow print, by Graffiti Prints on Jul 15, 2017 9:50:27 GMT 1, i bought sep and heavy sea with ease, then i tried to buy meadow but i was on the wrong page when released
much to the wife's annoyance saying you do this bloody stuff and when i ask for something you are too slow.
the irony did not pass me by and i remember being annoyed with myself.
i liked this print a lot esp the process, so i decided to give it a go and try to buy it online in the bun fight.
i thought this would be my first opportunity since we started to grab a print on release that i know is going to sell in a flash and be on the other side of the computer. so i did not rate my chances.
so i decided to ask some collectors i know are super quick when i sell.
the simple advice they gave me got me a print yesterday.
it did not sell out in 7 seconds, i got that email too maybe he was taking about carting it.
it sold out in around 2 minutes, which from my experience is correct to have around 70-80 pieces online.
i have sold more prints than that quicker, so it is possible.
so back to the simple advice which i have decided to share as i get tried of seeing all the conspiracy comments and bots.
just use auto fill giancarlo, go to settings in chrome - click advanced, click autofill and set your address and credit card.
this will save you lots of time inputting details and give you the edge.
other than that press the buttons on screen as quick as possible till it confirms you have hopefully been successful, good luck sir.
simple as that, i did what he said and boom i got it.
it took me back to buying online back in the day and my heart was racing from the moment i saw the add to cart button and it all started.
must have taken me in total 1-1.30 mins to go through the process of buying till i clicked last button on pejac page to confirm order.
autofill is the bot you are all taking about and then maybe quick internet speeds comes into play..
auto fill will level the playing field to flat, then its about who clicks quickest.
it really was as simple as that.

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by jakebrown88 on Jul 15, 2017 9:51:11 GMT 1, A lot coming across very sore in here - just 4G and auto fill on a iPhone managed to secure it. Zero bots.
This is the nature of the beast and as for those saying 'they are becoming very frustrated with collecting art at the moment'. The demand for urban art has increased massively - and so you are fighting against so many more people to secure those drops.
It's that same demand that's been turning your older prints into mini gold mines - win some lose some.

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by jtk on Jul 15, 2017 9:57:42 GMT 1, I also added as soon as the "buy now" option popped up. Took at least 30 seconds to fill in my address, etc., and was able to complete my purchase. In my experience, Shepard Fairey prints (ed. of 450) sell out much quicker. I suspect that the '7 seconds' refers to carting, and not completing the transaction. -Not a Bot

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by vei on Jul 15, 2017 10:13:17 GMT 1, I wonder what happens when there are enough people with bots going for the same release, whilst bots in theory will run at the same speed I guess internet speeds will dictate which bot wins and which bot loses. 7 seconds id certainly possible, especially with the use of auto-fill, although some manual input is still needed. I suspect it is the same people that get lucky over and over again whilst most (me included) just miss out. To try and compare Pejac with Invader is an insult to Invader, the 2 artists are literally planet`s apart.
Nope
Not literally planets apart
Same planet
Earth

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by wottagunn on Jul 15, 2017 10:25:56 GMT 1, I don't know, I found it pretty tough. Granted Australian internet is pretty shit, but all of my info was auto filled and as soon as I hit that "continue" button I got the message saying they were all gone. Bit gutted really. Would've been one of the few that to actually frame it, just like Wound. Can't say I've seen many of those on walls. But that's the way it goes sometimes

So did you make a high offer so it would appear it's sold and then not pay?
Seems it's relisted. The old pump and dump. I'm assuming you already have one?

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by Dexter Bulldog on Jul 15, 2017 13:12:07 GMT 1, To quell the conspiracy theorists, I would say it took me about 20 seconds to complete because I forgot to,add the 4 digit credit card code but other than that I was lightning quick. I was confirm 52 so looks like 50 or so,were quicker and or had a program. All must have been carted within 7 seconds as in if you didn't click "buy now" within 7'seconds, you didn't have a chance. It is absolutely possible to sell 80 or more prints all at once if hundreds are racing at the same time.

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by coller on Jul 15, 2017 13:30:41 GMT 1, Is it true that the email was sent after you were asked to contact the artist with a reference number, because their was an error with your purchase? E-mails were sent asking to verify addresses; I think a lot of people accidentally ordered with the UK listed as the country by mistake, since that was the default country in the shipping field (and if you checked out via Paypal or certain CCs it wouldn't correct the mistake).

My only concern is that fact the dude doesn't even have them in hand and he's trying to unload them on here. I mean doesn't UAA have a rule against that or something? I mean you want to flip it that's chill just take that somewhere else.

If we deleted threads and posts, they can easily offer it for sale via private messages to those who have posted they missed out. People are already posting that they want this print on the wanted threads, so it could be said they are encouraging people to flip the print.

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by Deleted on Jul 15, 2017 18:05:03 GMT 1, i bought sep and heavy sea with ease, then i tried to buy meadow but i was on the wrong page when released much to the wife's annoyance saying you do this bloody stuff and when i ask for something you are too slow. the irony did not pass me by and i remember being annoyed with myself. i liked this print a lot esp the process, so i decided to give it a go and try to buy it online in the bun fight. i thought this would be my first opportunity since we started to grab a print on release that i know is going to sell in a flash and be on the other side of the computer. so i did not rate my chances. so i decided to ask some collectors i know are super quick when i sell. the simple advice they gave me got me a print yesterday. it did not sell out in 7 seconds, i got that email too maybe he was taking about carting it. it sold out in around 2 minutes, which from my experience is correct to have around 70-80 pieces online. i have sold more prints than that quicker, so it is possible. so back to the simple advice which i have decided to share as i get tried of seeing all the conspiracy comments and bots. just use auto fill giancarlo, go to settings in chrome - click advanced, click autofill and set your address and credit card. this will save you lots of time inputting details and give you the edge. other than that press the buttons on screen as quick as possible till it confirms you have hopefully been successful, good luck sir. simple as that, i did what he said and boom i got it. it took me back to buying online back in the day and my heart was racing from the moment i saw the add to cart button and it all started. must have taken me in total 1-1.30 mins to go through the process of buying till i clicked last button on pejac page to confirm order. autofill is the bot you are all taking about and then maybe quick internet speeds comes into play.. auto fill will level the playing field to flat, then its about who clicks quickest. it really was as simple as that.
Great advice, thanks, just downloaded Chrome on mu iMac. I was going to go for this print but totally forgot! I guess I didn't want it that badly. Saved me โฌ1k!

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by joe2191 on Jul 15, 2017 18:27:21 GMT 1, I don't think this was a smooth release at all.
I got a friend sitting next to me in the office to try for it too. Despite both of us sitting there and hard refreshing the page he was able to proceed to buy way before I was able to see the button. We're talking a good 20 seconds here. Luckily he scored it for me but it's a shame that lots of people probably never had a chance because of a technical issue.
Of course - it could have been my computer/network rather than the site. But then I doubt I'm the only one who had this issue. And I've not experienced this on any other releases.
Would explain the '7/6/5 seconds' to sold out some people experienced.

Of course - it could have been my computer/network rather than the site. But then I doubt I'm the only one who had this issue. And I've not experienced this on any other releases.
Would explain the '7/6/5 seconds' to sold out some people experienced.

Etc
