doodie sandwich, by Deleted on Aug 2, 2017 23:09:33 GMT 1, Since everyone wants to do this here: 1) There is no ban, it's a temporary restriction on high-risk countries.2) Paris Climate Accord is a great idea and I wish we'd stayed in, but not being a part of it doesn't stop private companies from being more responsible, as many have since vowed to do. 3) Military didn't miss out on anything before "don't ask don't tell" was lifted by Obama. I don't think they are quite going to be missing transgendered now. Something tells me there wasn't a huge demand for a bunch of Bruce Jenner's to be joining the military \

doodie sandwich, by Coach on Aug 2, 2017 23:15:08 GMT 1, Is your objection to the flip or to criticism of the flip? The flip itself. Also could do without the politics, too. If I wanted the latter, I'd turn on CNN or BBC. I find it all a bit fatiguing.
No disrespect Coach, and I hope you are well.
Thank you. My best wishes to you too. I also object to the flip. This is a print that I tried to buy. I cannot afford flipper prices. I accept flipping will happen. It shouldn't happen here. It's parasitical. Anyone wanting to flip should it to eBay! As for the politics, I agree it can be tiresome. Whilst involved in the brexit and uk election politics threads, I have tried to stay out of the political threads on here, but found it difficult to ignore a suggestion that all was fine under the trump administration.

Regarding point 3, my understanding is that it effects between 2-3 thousand currently serving personnel, not to mention future potential recruits.

Assuming the high end of your estimate, that's 0.1%, I think we'll survive.

You do realize anyone can invest in the market right? It's also good for regular folks trying to retire. Pensions and funds make up a much larger chunk of volume than individuals.

That's a fair point. I heard commentary on the radio today, though, that suggested that the rise in the market started with Obama and this is a mere continuation of that.

That's a bit of a silly argument if you think about it. After a crash like 2008 (not blaming that on him, 100% NOT Obamas fault) the only direction the market can really go is up. Market rally recently has been on expectation of favorable trade deals.

Ok, but does that not make your earlier argument that the rise in the markets is a sign of Trump's success equally silly?

To put it simply; the expectation of favorable trade deals is because he's president and questioning them.

It's not a matter of what people think. People are free to do or believe whatever they want. By all means.
But what happens in a combat zone when horomonal adjustment medication is no longer readily available and your body starts adjusting back? Whole plethora of issues to worry about there.

That was just a tweet Coach, like most things Drumpf says, there's utterly nothing behind it.

No there's been a tech boom.
You should watch the movie Idiocracy. It explains how Trump got in and also explains why we are all fcked (well, our future generations are IF some of us have any that is).

- Wife doesn't like it. - Some unexpected bills to pay. - Got my eye on something special so need the funds.
That sort of bollocks.
This is just lazy. Therefore I'm out.

Wait, you're blaming yours**tty taxes on OUR president? That's rich.
I love that you think Europeans have the s**tty taxes. Let's discuss once you've added up your federal, state, sales & property tax then thrown your family's health insurance & kid's college tuition on top. But don't worry you have a nice 0 day minimum holiday, maternity and paternity policy to help relive the stress of all that money flying out the door. Suckers.

It's beyond a joke how punitive the taxation system is, and don't think you can escape paying tax on anything you sell on eBay or any other on the QT sale, tax inspection isn't a job in the US it's a business, they go out of their way to investigate you, and if you are found to have diddled the system for even a small amount you're F*****, though of course if you're a huge multinational then you're ok.
