They're framed brilliantly, giving the images space to breathe and room below for the stamp also. Displayed in a row they echo the method and repetition of the printing process. Dark Matter. These are a small edition of 15 being released tomorrow from www.artcave.co.uk tomorrow at 2:00 pm
It is loosely based on an etching of a Madonna by Leonardo da Vinci and relates to the artist, inventor and scientists' attitude to science and nature. The piece is titled Dark Matter as it concerns a scientific viewpoint of the universe while still considering the role of the divine. The dots can suggest molecular structure while also referencing the print process.
